Dicked around for way too long with poker back and forth from different sites/stakes. Giving it one big shot now starting at 25zoom on Pokerstars with a BR of $850 and looking to move up asap.
I will be playing 2 tables only for maximum focus and will try to update regularly with graphs/ hands.
I have a close group of friends that play a bit higher that have helped me a lot with my game recently and I will be studying regularly too!
Hey, been a few days since I updated so here goes.
Had a pretty big downswing over 2 days(-17bi) but honestly put a lot of it down to variance. Got in QQvAK so many times vs fish and they never have run it twice on, literally lost every single flip, a bunch of good bluffs that ran into the nuts, and also a bunch of hidden ev that was super unlucky.
I can honestly say I'm super happy with my mental game, I didn't spew a single stack in that downswing or even tilt, I probably played some B game in there and there was the odd bluff I looked at after that actually wasn't as great as I thought at the time, but I learn from this every time and I am super happy with my progress lately.
Did a lot of studying last week as well as grinding which I found super good and I am constantly learning so much. I am going to keep this thread going even through the rough times as a test to myself to not give up.
I will post some hands but I'm going to be selective as I know a lot of 25z players read 2+2 and don't want them recognising any crazy hands I've played against them
Got another $50 from cardmatch and been getting lucky with chests too, which is insane so bankroll is currently at $865(still have $40 RB to cash in too)
Graph so far
Hand 1 - thought V was a fish, realised after he was a reg, actually slowrolled me on river which triggered me super hard, cant wait to find him and do the same!!!(also my turn sizing was way too big)
