Hi everyone and welcome to my MTT streaming it up challenge!

PART 1: THE WHY

Long story short. I'm a semi-professional PLO cash game player and i'm part of the community since almost a decade.
Starting new threads looks like one of my biggest hobbies but actually i like to play poker too.

In the last 3 years i've spent hours over hours to learn different formats wich can be played online. I started out with 6max hypers, went on to HU hypers, spins and then to cash-games. Afterwards i found PLO as my main game and decided to challenge my self starting at the lowest stakes. After 2 months grinding and studying hard i was playing PLO100 ZOOM as my main source of income.

But the most fun i'd always had in MTT's, therefore i used to play them beside on weekends, as a kind of a reward for all the grinding hours at the ZOOM tables.
Because i was usually only playing like 20-30 MTT's a month my average buy in was somewhere around 100 USD. It was all about having fun and enjoying the time away from the ZOOM pools. I'm somewhere around 350 cashes so far with an average cash of 150 USD. That's quite a good result since i haven't played more then max. 1K MTT's in the past.

I now feel like i get bored by the daily PLO grind and really wanna make a transition to MTT's as my main source of income, and increase the fun in my life.
Therefore i think it's a good idea to start at the lower stakes and make my way up in those like i always did. I believe this is the best way to get a feeling for the game-flow and the time-management required to grind those on a daily base. At the same time i really like to challenge myself to get the motivation out to stay on track.

I will start with an average buy-in of 11 USD and a 1k bankroll.
The challenge will end once i hit a 100K bankroll. If i busto i will start all over again and repeat until i'm able to beat the games and move up in stakes.

The detailed bankroll-management will be covered in the next thread cause i need to get some more information and impressions by fellow MTT regs, about how the variance on smaller stakes look like in reality.

This challenge will be different from everything i've done in the past, cause i will stream every session live on twitch, so you can follow up and interact with me.

You can find the link to my stream and the whole schedule together with the management and links to my social medias in PART 2 of this thread.

Preparations almost done.

I have already played two sessions this week for preparations to set up everything and find a good way to realize this project on my mac-book cause i'm traveling around most of the time and i will not have access to my home set-up all the time.

In those two sessions i have played 85 tournament, and now i will show you how my posts will look like after each session done.

I will only post bb/100, tournament played, c-net won, and avg. buy-in.
The review also contains the hand of the day and some words by my site.

An overall-profit-giraffe will be shown every week on Monday and always at the last of the month, together with a monthly-review.

Session Nr. 1+2:

Tournaments played: 85
Avg. buy-in: 7.19 CHF

bb/100: 9

Multiple deep runs along the way. The deepest was a 600k stack in the HOT11. The problem with that one was that i only registered to fix some stuff on OBS for my stream and afterwards i found my self in a even more tricky spot. Sitting there with a 600K stack and like 40 players left, but at the same time i had a very important meeting coming up. So i started to spew around and calling off light ( 66<99, AJs<AK ) Things went it's way and i busted out 38th place. I had really regret this decision after i realized how much of a favor i was in terms of edges and how cool it would be to start this challenge with a final table at the HOT11.
But a man has to do what a man has to do. So from now on i will not have any other conclusions in terms of meetings during my stream-time. And i'm sure, my time will come anyways.

Btw. If it's too easy, it's not fun.
