I figure that with hundreds of thousands of people reading my posts everyday (millions possibly? I dunno), I will be less inclined to do something stupid. As things stood previously, if I blew 60% of my bankroll shot taking (like yesterday), nobody would say anything, but now that I am sharing, or maybe confessing is a better word, well, whatever the hell I am doing, my hope is that knowing a dumb move will bring the condemnation of other posters whether in this thread or in furious private messages, will keep me on the righteous path of grinding 10NL until I get to 400 bucks.
With that said, let's jump into the action. I am starting the day out with $263 and opening up three 10NL tables on Global Poker. Buckle your seat belts....
Ok, just played a half hour and I am mentally wiped out, so taking a break here. One hand of note. I am playing 6max on this table and get 22 off suit in UTG+1. UTG folds, I bump it up to .35 and get called by the button and the blinds. Four to a flop, a buck forty in the pot and the cards comes out Jack Ten Ten. I think it was all black cards, I can't remember. What I do remember is the big blind fires a .65 bet in there. The action comes to yours truly and I'm thinking, c'mon man, you expect me to think you have a Jack, you'd be slow playing if that were the case.
Now some players will just call here and hope the villain starts to behave on the turn, but I didn't show up at this rodeo to watch the clowns, I'm here to ride the bulls or steers, whatever they do at rodeos these days. So, I RE-RAISE with my two pairs to two bucks. The villain steps back for a second, I can tell he's ticked that I read him so damn well, and he's stewing over there, the little clock is winding down, he knows he's beat but have I tilted him to the point where he'll do something rash like jam it all in there???? The answer is yes, and of course I have to snap him off like a diseased twig on an dogwood tree, so I do, and low and behold, the bastard's got himself KJ of diamonds.
SAVVY MOVE, MUCHACHO!!
But, old Rhino, that's my screen name by the way, RhinoLewis, old Rhino isn't done yet. There's a few more streets to see, lay them on the felt dealer, three of clubs and a..... two of diamonds on the river!!!
Bing bing bing!!
So that was nice. The other tables I played on were filled with bots, pros, or combinations of both, so I didn't crush there like I did with the JJ222 baby boat. Up $10 to $273 for this session.
Catch you later!!
