The story line

Iīve made many PGC threads before, some on this account and some that iīve made on a different account incase it would be another thread that i would abandon. Itīs not an usual story - thereīs a reason why itīs fun to see an successfull thread.

I discovered poker about 8 years ago and since then iīve ran a couple bankrolls up - the biggest one was when i was 18 years old, ran it up to about 13k$ at its highest with a combination of MTTs, NLHU and live cash games.

Iīve never grinded seriously longer than a couple of months since i was never able to handle the downswings so this will most likely be my last try at playing poker seriously. Itīs something iīve wanted to do for ages, been a dream of a sort however i do not look at poker as the end goal even though it was when i first discovered poker, nothing was more cooler than a baller that made all his money in poker and would then spew like a mother****er in real life.

Since then itīs always followed me as itīs one of the most intresting games that are available and without a doubt the game thatīs easiest to make money at since you donīt have to be in the top 0.1% just like most games.

Now how did i start grinding again?

I wasnīt employed because i had quit a couple months back and was started to reeeaaalllyyy need money and wondering what i was doing with my life as things werent looking that bright, i had deposited a couple hundred bucks but had to withdraw before i could make any money at 180s.
So on this one night about 5-6 weeks ago i deposited 11$ for a nights entertainment and regged the Big 11 while watching some TV shows, at some point i started going deep and decided to fire up a twitch stream as i had been thinking about streaming for a while and went on to place 2nd place with a great crowd on twitch watching me taking down a 4,7k$ score after saying no to a chop. Twitching made me want to say no to a chop as i already had some life changing money guaranteed and ofcourse, iīm a gambler when i come down to it...

I left 1k$ on my account and cashed out the rest for life expenses and since then iīve grinded 830 tournaments and shipped the 11$ monday night 6max for 2,3k$.

After the second score i discovered that i could play NLHU once again however the tables are way different since its Zoom now but i feel like iīve adjusted quite nicely to them but iīm still looking to improve my game but feeling confident about grinding these games.

Whats the plan?

The goal is having 15k$ combined in liferoll and bankroll before the end of October and for that Iīll be grinding both NLHU and MTTīs.
I might play some 6max aswell but historically i havenīt been doing good in those but iīve matured alot as a person and a player since i attempted to grind those in the past. Every sunday i also play the sunday million on a stake so thereīs a chance of knocking the goal out of the park every weekend.

This goal might not be the most crazy since almost everyone on PGC likes to put a goal that almost seem impossible - to be honest with the stakes that iīm playing right now even this one is a challenge and itīs not guaranteed iīll reach it however iīll be putting in alot of effort to be able to reach it.

Iīll be posting updates here in the thread and then thereīs my twitch stream which mostly follows my MTT grind even though i do sometimes stream my NLHU grind but it just dosenīt feel smart - revealing my thought process live on stream on tables that anyone can join at any given time and also it isnīt as exciting... dosenīt have the big swings as MTTs do.

So my stream is: https://www.twitch.tv/lamahydra

Iīm not sure if iīll be making monthly goals but for now, untill the end of this month iīll be shooting for playing as much as i can but i also got some stuff to do and also socialising so i donīt become a cave troll and go insane.

Thanks for reading, GL to us.
