After 2 days off I decided to play the 330eu Malta cup crapshoot and the IPT 1100eu main. Both were pretty boring pokerwise, never got much above starting stack and busted both just before day 2. Really soft mtts, with a mix of italian spazzregs, older European and Italian recs and some online people. Felt way more comfotable than I thought I would. Had some funny noob mistakes like 3betting to 11k (25k starting) instead of 1100 in one of the first few hands in the IPT. Was really card dead troughout the day, got moved at the end to a table with Griffin Benger and maybe 1 other reg, rest (I assume) recreational players. Was short so that was sad.

Last two hands I played were me raising kk utg to 1800 with 20k eff at 400/800/100, sb reg calls, griffin calls bb.

Flop and turn aqax, checked around, river q, sb and griffin check so I rep some counterfeited pairs and bet 2850, get snapped by griffins q5s.

Last hand I shove a9s for 14bbs somewhere early/mp, mp2 or whatever snapshoves 18bbs with qjs, flop t89 GG livepoker.

Gonna go to the gym/cook tomorrow and then 3 or 4 days online grinding before I leave Malta.

Played 2 days of the last 10 or 11, comnibination of enjoying the last days of Malta/relaxing at home/screen broken in flight. Gonna grind the next 4 out of 5 days left in the month to get the goal of 18. Profitwise its looking alright, hoping to add some more obv.

Bought 2 27inch monitors which are looking gooooood.

Last 4 days have been ****, didnt exercise, ate crap, played too many tables, tilted, ran bad, spite called my backer bvb but dude always has it, etc.

Had tons of deep runs which couldve easily made it a good end of the month but lol_mtts, the 10th in the 100eu was painful. That mtt ended up being as tough as a scoop 2.1k or something according to sharkscope, nice game selection there. Ran up a huge stack going from 25/45 to 1/18 to bust 10th. /Whine

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March overall:

x 18 grind days
x 1000 mtts (wrote them down each day, sharkscope missed a couple)
- 35% avg roi (lol maybe the worst avg roi ive had in 2 yrs)
- increase avg buyin to 25-30ish (24.78, who cares, its about the $ profit)
- 10k profit (fail, ran badly and some play bad)
-have 10k saved by the end of the month (fail, had 9k saved but had to buy new monitors and ive invested a chunk in coaching)

Overall I'm not that dissapointed, exercised 21 out of 31 days and played a lot of mtts. Started slippin hard at the end of the month though. Profit wise its meh but what can you do.

Weird graph for me, usually have 10 small binks and no big downswings, this month it looks more like a standard mtt graph sadly. Avg field size increased from 290 in jan/ 400ish in febr to 900+ in march and added more turbos which plays a big part in it ofc. Decent downswing at the end of the month as you can see. Annoying to start a new month with 3k make up but thinking in terms of months doesnt do much good anyway.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ytd:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

April goals:

Exercise 25 days
20 grind days
1000 mtts
10k profit
10k saved

Played 3 days, lost some more money but yesterday was the first winning day in a while so that was nice for a change, even though it was only 186 whopping cheeseburgers. Been playing well though, usually play worse whenever I'm downswinging. Big binks are just around the corner
Spoiler:
JK *** big binks, aint gonna happen, bowls ftw

Had my first coaching session on friday, was good, got me out of my comfort zone and forced me to think about more possibilities on every street etc.

Not so interesting results:

Still downswinging, playing alright. Did win my daily afternoon favorite for the 3rd time or something so thats something, had some other deep runs but meh, down 6kish from my peak this yr. Dropping some huge field turbos and cutting down tables, gonna work hard and get that money back.

Day off today, weather is amazing. Saturday/sunday on that GRIND.

Biggest downswing Ive ever had and seeing other people's approach makes me set a new goal:

Study 15 hrs a week. Whether its hh review of my own mtts, other people's mtts, icmizer work, getting coaching, watching rio vids (worst "study" of them all). Not a single good reason not to, I have the time, all the tools, not in direct need of making money etc. It does mean I will be aiming for 800 mtts a month instead of 1k+ but with bigger roi it wouldnt even make that big of a difference in terms of $ and long term its gonna pay off obv.

Havent done **** in the last 5 months or so, and that is just terrible.

/end rant.

Lol

Making progress this week, studied 9 hrs so far, mix of hh review with several people/icmizer/ and just looking over my own. Also played 240ish mtts with no results other than some bowls.

Time to wrap up the bad month that is april. Had a decent nr of deep runs in big mtts with lots of k's up top, def yolo'ed it up in some of them but didn't get rewarded in any sadly. Might be forcing it a little bit too much but results orientated thinking etc.

Looking at my results now its probably the first month in 1.5 yrs I only had one score over 1k in a single month which is obv terrible.

Enough blablabla whining, new month new chances.

Gonna head to berlin from tuesday till monday to chill-party-grind with sifiasco and blakkman007, then do the same but in amsterdam the week after. After all that debauchery its time to grind the morning and afternoon games in may, I´ll let all the other mediocre regs lose their money to the brynkennys and jason koons in the evening and scoop mtts.

Played 2 sunday's hunting the glory and 3 off peak sessions earning a honest living, nothing too special, shipped some bowls and one of my favs (6max club) which I hadnt won before. Up around 1700, 5.5k to go to get back even.

    Lost around 400.

Had a deep run in the monsoon with a good stack, then lost some std allins which led me to tilting a bit and the following horrible punt: "lol FU you dont have qj" is not a good enough reason to stick 28bbs in in a really soft scoop.
