Hello everyone, my name is Elliott and I am from Montreal, Canada. I am a 22 year old student who has always enjoyed problem solving as well as being a natural risk taker. After a relatively successful Summer, I have decided to create a new thread for my new massive goal. I am essentially majoring in a new degree at University and would like to make 100k from poker earnings by the time I graduate. With that said, I am unsure how much free time I will have to play once I start school, but I will do my best to get the hours in.

My objective for the Summer was to make enough money playing poker so that I did not have to work a full time job. With a lot of grinding, I managed to accomplish my goal. According to my SharkScope, I made just under 5k which is great for me.

The goal that I have set for the stakes that I am currently starting at is very ambitious. Although, I plan to grind and move my way up and crush higher games as soon as possible. Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.

It was a pretty interesting day, shaky and swingy. Was not always very happy with my play, but for the most part I played well. Surprisingly, did this all in one sitting, was a long sesh. Very swingy graph because I am shotting 25s once again, and think I will be giving them a 20BI shot. My confidence did waver at times and I was a little frustrated, but I took a minute to cool off and got right back into the action. So far, there is only one reg at 25s who insists on constantly playing me. He is decent, but not better than me, it is just a nuisance. For example, last month he was the one constantly sitting me and only stopped once he was profitable according to PT4. He literally stopped with 4$ profit, even though he was like -60 ev lol. We shall see if this nuisance persists.

My back has been hurting from a footy game, but I think I will go for a run to blow off some steam and clear my head.

Had a frustrating early sesh so stopped after 50 games and went did some exercise and played a little footy. Was a scorcher outside today, so got in a good sweat. Came back later for a smaller sesh and played some more. Happy with volume so far this month, so that's a positive.

this was basically one lengthy sesh today, made a couple borderline plays near the end and decided it was time to stop the sesh, might play more later, depends what I'm doing tonight

Hypers have been going very meh this month, solid volume though.

Played this MTT today, literally the only one I played. Ended up one tabling it for 2 hours and played very well imo. Came 2nd which sucks, but what can ya do. On a positive note, that's a good start to my challenge!

Going to update for the week. Happy with the volume that I put in this week and I played well for the most part. Pretty **** week in terms of hypers, the graph speaks for itself. On a positive note, managed to take 2nd in an MTT that I already posted and that was nice. That MTT score alone accounts for 0.5% of the goal .

Hoping to crush this week and run better. First week back at University, so we'll see how much time I have.

Honestly, just another horrible day. Found myself running badly, getting bad cd, getting coolered, all the usual bs. Ended up stopping my first sesh after 38 games and went for a run in the blazing heat. Was pretty rough and tiring, but glad I did it. Came back, took a cold shower and had some food while watching some UEFA Qualifiers and US Open. Ended up playing another sesh and continued to run like pure dog****. Not sure when this will end, but here's to hoping.

I have been putting in roughly 100 games/day lately and am happy with the sheer quantity. Although, I don't know how happy I am with the overall quality. It has been a tough stretch of cards and things have not really been going my way, but I still feel as though I can play even better than I am. I need to find that extra drive to keep improving and keep working and not enter auto pilot. Never settle.

ya I played a decent sample of spins ~750 ish and should have been in profit but was negative, they take a strong mindset

Decided today that I was going to take my time and play my absolute best. In the process, I bricked a bunch of MTTs but did not really notice as I was playing very well in hypers and getting some run good. Feels good to book a solid day.

felt a bit sluggish today, not sure what was up, wasn't able to think as clearly as I would have liked to, possibly from the lack of physical activity since I tweaked my hamstring playing footy over the weekend

have classes this week tues/weds/thurs so need to get back into the swing of things which means poker is going to take a bit of a back seat

Had my first day of classes today and it was pretty boring tbh lol
Still tweaking my schedule so it is still not set in stone, but looking like 3 days a week + one online course which is pretty solid.

Played a decent amount of poker today, felt rly good about my thinking and decision making process, but I also ran well. In the meantime, while I was waiting for action for hypers, I would load a spin or two on Stars. Playing the 7s, going to try and build a sample and see how I like them. My previous jackpot trial didn't go the greatest in terms of profit, but my chip ev was good. Granted, it was a small sample of 750 games. I definitely prefer playing spins on stars rather than jackpots on ftp though. Feels good using the elite software.

oh ya also logged onto to this little gem, someone hit it big jesus

another day of grinding, happy with how I played and glad I put in the quality volume that I wanted to put in

tomorrow I have a full day of classes then I'm going out at night, so no poker tomorrow, back at it Friday I think
