grinded out another 142 games pretty much all HU PLO8 hypers for +$134.... gonna make it through these no matter what.. but would be nice to catch some heat... I am going to focus more on tourneys for a bit... get that average per game back up I hope..

If it's av per game you're wanting, then lets get the morning 40+4 nlo8 mtt going. It's the highest daily o8 buyin and always seems like its gonna overlay which gets quite a few randoms in. Problem is TD set it early af and it takes at least 6 of us to forego a lil extra beauty sleep and get our asses up in the morning to make it start. Hopefully when he gets back in a few weeks we can get him to set it an hour or two later or something. Your average should surely go up a bit from it if we can get it running often enough.

Btw few more russians showed up to reinforce their lil cartel on the 50 and up plo8 husngs. They were regged 3 deep yesterday, was kinda lol. Too bad they won't come play any 6 or 9-max though

Yea that one was def a sick beat that close to the money. I followed up the 4th in the 55r plo8 with a 1st in the 109r nlo8 today My 100-10k on WPN is now complete so maybe I can focus a bit more on the other two sites now.

On the downside, the falcons choked late and that was a pretty sick beat in itself.

luckily ran hot in few NBA plays( very slipperly slope I know ... so was able to manage a new peak but this challenge really starting to not work out which sucks..

Dont even worry about the number of games or av profit, just that $$$ is all that matters. A ton of your games were husngs and some weren't even your strongest game. If you wanna practice plo in order to play live, just wait for a cash game promo and hit up the midstakes tables where it's fairly active. Or grind some plo mtts maybe, depends whichever you feel like at the time. I'd say plo mtts since your tournament experience would be a huge advantage. Def a bit less tilt for you in bombing an mtt than in getting stuck in cash or husngs and chasing your losses. At least you're usually mentally prepared for the worst with mtts

I'm takin a break from husngs and gonna focus on ods, sngs, and mtts. Also not gonna waste time betting on anything except maybe some cubs since I know I'll be following them anyway, or if some good value comes along....prolly around kentucky derby time.

Another reason to focus on ods is that if we get can keep enough running, then more of the holdem grinders are pretty much forced to join in in order to keep up with the guys who play both holdem and o8 ods for that snc money. Especially during happy hours.

Edit - I still stand by my falcons pick at +134, they were way undervalued

I hear you on the On demands... key is to get a ton of those running so we can compete on the Sit and Crush and get the NL grinders playing them... also would be nice to get 6 max hyper turbos running en masse... much easier than me and you playing HU sngs all day...

It would help If they were NL instead of PL. Most guys who play on stars have no interest in playing PL hypers which I don't blame them. 6 max hypers play a lot better as NL.

Sngs prolly wont run all that well no matter what on that site because of on-demands giving double the points for rake paid. And much of the rec player base needed to support mass hypers is currently tied up in jackpots, husngs, and small stakes cash. With the snc format, there really isn't much incentive to play hypers tbh since ods give points roughly as fast for half the rake. 8-16 tabling plo8 ods would be sick snc points and the holdem guys would def take notice then. Wouldn't even matter if it was mostly regs at first since most or all of the rake is covered anyway.

Best bet is grinding on-demands for the snc and maybe cash tables for the beast until sng 2.0 arrives. *If* it even arrives. Then we protest to get o8 added before it kills off what little o8 traffic has built up there, and maybe coin flip odds we actually get it included :/

Yeah def going a bit too big with the bets, read the article above and while a lot of it is pretty much common sense...the graphs really hit home for a poker player and show how sick the variance can be for betting. If you get a chance sometime, read some of the articles from their betting strategy and betting psychology archives. A lot of it carries over to poker too, especially with stuff like BRM and such. Also try to make a habit of checking pinnacle's odds while betting on wpn, bovada, or wherever.
