RUNNING LIKE SH**

I mean words can't really discribe how terrible I'm running but yeah, played some Spins now and I keep getting rivered.

Running 40 BI below EV is very frustrating but I won't let it effect my play in any way, ain't nobody got time for tilt.

As I'm winding down a bit from todays session I will elaborate on the challenge so far and the things I've noticed.

Tournaments:

I've played medium to high stakes tournaments before (getting 2. in the 162 Bounty once) and go out on a limb and say I feel pretty comfortable playing the low- and micro stakes. I only play 6 tournaments at a time because I'm on a macbook and I just like it when I have a bit room left and when I started to play 9 or 12 previously I missclicked a lot using hotkeys.

Having played about 200 Tournaments so far in this challenge my EV-Line tells me I'm about break even. Add in the fact that I play spin & go's and some turbos aswell where push/fold ranges are very close and the majority of the time 45/55 flips I consider this EV okish. Obviously I'd like see me being profitable but you can't have it all. Ah yeah and I noticed that I suck at winning flips and I'm currently running 48.5 Avg BI below EV

I wil definately keep on playing tournaments for the simple fact that one win will make up for all the running below EV.

Cash:

What can I say other that I seem to have Zoom NL16 & NL25 on lock.

Implementing 500 hand session has helped me a tremendous amount with thinking every spot carefully through before rushing into decisions. It's really as if every single hand counts and I have a lot of time thinking about every single decision since I usually only have 2 tournaments on the side and 2 table Zoom.

Playing fewer hands and playing during prime time also factors in imo current BB/100 = 45 seems a bit unreal but would be happy to continue this run for the next 3-4K hands so of any poker god hears me out there, help a brother out

Noticed that my red-line stopped dropping which also comes imo from playing few tables and thinking through where aggression makes sense and where to rather not 3bet/4bet light.

Happy to finally have a green balance here

Ah the joys of zoom. I do this a lot and reward myself with a little bit of procrastrination in between sprints. It's so much easier to commit to short hand spans. Especially those days when your mind is off somewhere else.

Lost this huge pot with AA and 75% on Turn to win the hand. Purposely slowplayed the hands and giving the exact hands my opponends had(44, and KJs) I most definitely got more value using the slowplay then if I had just 4bet pf. So overall satisfied w/ this hand.

All I want to say to this hand is that not in a million years I've expected to lose that hand LOL I all started with him flatting 78o pf and obv flopping trips, but he played it really well by not reraising my bet. Would have folded then obv. And River reraise is clear call so, no mistakes were made in that hand. I even think barreling on turn woulnd't have achieved much since flatting in mp usually signals low pocket pairs or suited connectors like 89s, 109s and he wouldn't have folded those anyway.

Don't know about this one, but I just had a feeling he had an overpair and so I went for the 3 barrels. Can make a argument for checking turn and overbet river, but at these stakes nobody does it light. Could have raised smaller on river, maybe that was a mistake.

Think this is the hand of the day really liked the way I played it from pf-action to the sizings. It just flows well and tells a good story. If you're wondering why all the action pf I basically just played his stats and with the stack sizes we both had I thought It'd be likely for him to not have very much.

Not really a great sample size on the last hand with 22, but I suppose you just chose the super high variance line there. Flop is great for your hand (couldn't really get better besides hitting a 2). Not sure what villains range could be flatting your 4 bet. AK, AQ perhaps?

So let's look at my graphs for the last 96hours. On the one hand side I am shocked how bad I run, on the other side I'm up so and I know what I will focus on the next couple of days.

Tournaments: roughly 250

Cash roughly 4.5K

I must say I feel good grinding cash even at late hours especially Zoom NL25. I think this is the stake where people make the most mistakes, especially in 3bet-4bet pots.

It really seems as if you can snatch them away easy, and you can tell they are very unconfortable with these pots. I caught myself guessing my opponents hand sometimes aswell, think this is my limit! Anyway gonna go to sleep and try to finally get a haircut tomorrow, going to meet a girl tomorrow night

this time is good time at all stakes with a lot of christmas fish, grind it out while it lasts, but watch out cos it will play very noticeably differently in a month or two

to be completely honest I don't like his pf call. 4bet ranges in Zoom NL25 just crush AQo

This hand is a typical example of looking to much on the hud. I saw after I 3bet that my cbet on flop percentage was a bit to high so I thought delay cbet was the was to go. And I thought villians flatting range is more 66 77 88 and so on.

In this hand I wasn't sure to call on river because this smelled so strong like aces. But then again when villian only beats me with AA and thats 6Combo's so I call win.

Had some other flips aswell and at one point was down 2 BI but I played good and made correct decisions so I kept on playing and grinding it out. Played 4 tables I felt like the pool was kinda soft but that made me call a lot pf. I guess thats why my red-line declines a bit too much for my taste.

At the end of session I had 2 tables with close to 400BB and other 2 around 250is.

Only thing I am not really sure at this point is what to do when CO opens and I have small pocket pairs like (44,55,66) or hands like K10s or Q10s. I imagine it would be alright to sometime call the small pocket pairs and 3bet the K10s and q10s and so on.
