Two hands for you guys.

10% cc in CO 3,6 agg. factor 450 hands. I block the straight and don´t block busted flushdraws. I´m capped and it´s easy to attack my range in this spot. Thought an aggressive guy bets enough to get +EV there.

Unknown but I have great blockers 55s full, 45s and I block the nutflush. So for me that was the best hand for turning into a bluff.

6,1k hands so far and still feeling focussed.

Highly motivated and got a lot of drive throughout the challenge and in my opinion I mentioned some positive changes related to the no porn/fap challenge as well.

99 hand I would fold river just don't think he will have enough bluffs, we can also have better hands to defend.

A5 hand I like as he should have 99, jj, but I don't think most unk at 10z are capable of folding a flush or even 2 pair tbh

Thx man, guess you are right with both assumptions. People have too tight ranges and are not able to fold at NL10z.

Fwiw I think the raise is solid. There's a very low chance villains bluffing here especially at 10z so nh sir

Haha yes I know the play is good, but like mentioned not at NL10 where people don´t bluff or even thinvaluebet rivers at all.

First day in May is over and I´m happy with my sample. Still made some mistakes, it gets better and I have enough time and sample this month to improve. Btw. good start for the challenge.

5,5k hands so far, opened my last energy drink and grind like hell until I hit 8k hands today, maybe 9k hands.

Super happy with this other german guy I met and do the competition against. We review every day for 1-3 hours, share ideas and try to improve together. And on top he is a great grinder, so it will be really hard to win this comp. Guess I have to grind 200k-240k hands to beat him this month, if he is holding his grinding schedule up.

Wanna share a really great video with you guys:

That was the most ****ed up session I´v ever had. How the heck can I loose 14 stacks in 1k hands? Seriously how?

Start a review soon with my mate and figure it out.

Redline is usually even/slightly down, but today, that was a rape.

So, absolutely no offense, but you are a pro for 3+ years now (right?) and struggle to beat NL10/25. Are you sure that Poker is the right way for you?

Haha yes I know how this looks. But I already beat NL50 with a big sample (860k hands 0,6bb EV last year). I had some really bad spending behaviours, so I won way less then I paid for all that stuff.

And I´m full time player for about 4 years, but I started by playing 180s and it took me a long time to be good at it. But I was the top 3 winner in 2014 with $50k in winnings.

The transition to cashgame 1 3/4 years ago was a complete new beginning. 180s and 6max zoom is like you are going from playing soccer to play basketball. Both are games played with a ball, but thats all. It´s really like learning a new game from the beginning.

I lost about $12k in the first 4-5 months just to learn how to play even. I should had start with NL5 and not with NL50, but I had a BR of idk like $22k or so, when I moved to cashgame.

I had a close friend for about 3,5 years with I was playing 180s and moved to cashgame. He played a lot of cashgame before, so he tried to help me getting better in it. And that was my exact problem I had over the last 1,5 years at cashgame. He is a good winner at NL100 right now and I always tried to copy his style and didn´t think enough by my own, because he that do this and do that and I did it.

I would say for everyone who starts with poker, get a good coach. Not just a guy who is good at the thing he is doing. If he is not able to teach proberly it´s like getting coached by a -Ev player.

And if you don´t have money for a coach do it all by your own and forget this stupid gto bull****. Start thinking how to play each hand the best way. Play a big amount of hands and review all your stats to identify leaks and work on it, by thinking how to do it better. What works and what works not.

As you read, I still make a lot of mistakes at NL10 right now and as a wrote ist 90% bad calls, 5% missed valuebets/missed bluffbets and 5% bad bluffs.

I learned it the hard way and had to rewrite my complete game in the first quarter of this year, but finally for the really first time since I started cashgame, I believe I´m on the right track.

I´v found a brilliant grind and study partner about two weeks ago. We made literally every day 1-4h of content and motivate each other to grind the hell out of it.

We will show you this month how to play a ****ing big amount of hands while studying for hours to move from NL10 to NL50.

I hope this long post could answer your question fully.

H1: I wouldn’t call a 3.5x CO open with J8s pre, it’s going to be hard making hands like those +EV unless villain has some serious leaks. There are some problems with this hand imo, at the same time as we make the straight otr, it’s going to be hard finding worse hands that can call down on a runout like this. Hands like TP that had one spade in them (AT-T9) should fold river, overpairs folds by the river, sets or two pairs often 3b the flop (or folds river either way), so realistically he only have 98 or flushes when he bc/c/c. Big bets on earlier streets are also highly weighted towards big hands, so you shouldn’t have much fold equity on that flop either, so when he doesn’t fold flop I think this turn is kinda bad to continue on.

H2: We should have a decent amount of fold equity on that turn, not sure about river tho and what we are targeting him to fold. Hands like 9x/TT-JJ should fold, but can never know what these kinda villains that donkbets plays their range like. I don’t think Qx folds, the flopped flushdraws obv got there, and it’s not like he should have JT for a straightdraw that takes this line. Thinking about it more, I don’t think I like river jam.

H4: This is a clear fold otr when he raises. Also think a turn check is good some percent of the time, we are mostly targeting 99-JJ and those aren’t calling a triple, so I’d rather use an exploitable bxb line vs those hands. As played river sizing should be much smaller imo.

H5: Too thin, not sure what worse you expect him to call down?

H6: What’s your reason for sizing up on this 3b flop where as H4 and H5 are 1/3? If anything I’d want them the other way around, as this flop should smash villains range.

H8: Not a fan of these turn and river bets/sizings vs a recreational, plus it’s not a turn spot where villain is capped so don’t want to go this big from an exploitable pov.

H9: I’d just keep on barreling turn, xc is by far the worst option for us. What’s your thought process in this spot? I get it if you don’t want to get raised off your hand 275bb deep, but I think we need to keep the initiative OOP. The actual result we got from the hand will happen a lot if played like this when you give villain the control of the pot, since we will miss so many rivers.

H10: Flop can go either way, but I’m prob checking it back more than betting, esp when deep. Rest looks fine.

Hope this helps, keep it up. Subbed!

H1: Fold pre readless vs a pot preflopraise. Dont xR because if you xR with this hand then youll be checkraising waaaaaaaaay too much on this board. He pot cbets, fold and crush his ass when he cbets 50%. Make a note of his pre- and postflop sizing and move on.

H2: Call flop, dont raise. Villains donking range contains hands villain really likes, so dont even imagine you have FE here. You have a gutshot and a backdoor flushdraw so easy call OTF. You want to rep a boat, but this is 10nl dude. People snap you off when they have top pair and certainly when they have a flush. Just cooler him next time when you do have a boat.

Oh btw, if he donks his FD's then what happens to his checking range?

                                H3: easiest riverfold ever.

H4: looks like a cooler but it really is NOT. Its highly highly unlikely you will get 3 streets of value (what hand will call you THREE times?). I know you want 3 street but thats too ambitious in my opinion. When you wont get 3 streets, start with a check or bet, x turn, bet river.

H5: Again, really thin to go 3 streets, especially if the river is a potsized bet. Most 10nl players think you have an overpairs and they do fold Jx vs a Potsized bet. I dont mind the turnbarrel but all the straightdraws WILL fold if the board paired OTT. Your riverbet will usually only be called by better hands.

H6: Cooler IMO. I like it, your sizings make sense. Allthough its a disadvantage that you have the king of clubs i think you get called by lots of Qx and a lot of stubborn pocket pairs.

H7: Cooler, why even post this hand?

H8: Did i allready tell you people hate folding their toppairs? Make a note that this villain is just a toppair fish and a station. Its completely unnecessary to lose 1 buyin just for that information.

H9: Really bad turncard and your check is fine i guess. Make a note that villain likes to protect his hand with a half pot sizing, because usaully they bet at least 60% here when they have 2p+.

H10: check behind. You are ahead against his air but all better hands will x/C. Therefore if you bet, then bet 30% to fold out his air/equity. With your sizing youre burning your own money. Again, its really ambitious to bet turn again; when a 10nl player check/calls flop, most of the time they will call turnbets as well.

H11: Huge blunder to xR this board against a 45bb stack. Allthough this board is slightly favourable for your range, you do get direct odds to call.

H12: you dont have to 3bet every KQo from every position. Cool, you have blockers so you might have foldequity but dont be a fancy degen. This flop sucks extremely hard for your range so your whole range should start with a check.

H13: Really? A checkraise? Again? Really, again? You xR way too much, on this texture you shouldnt even xR a set.

Made a lot of review and stat analysis with my mate yesterday, so there was not enough time to grind.
