Wow really eye opening statement in a motivational video on YouTube.

"Your life comes down to your decision, if you change your decisions, it will change everything. When you understand the power of the five-second decision and you understand that you always have a choice to go from autopilot to the decision-maker, everything in your life will change, you will be unstoppable. Because you will realize the amount of garbage that you put in the way of your hopes, your dreams, your potential, of your confidence, of your courage. Everything comes down to the decisions that you make."

The decisions are obv the ones you make ingame.

The five-second rule is your timebank ingame, you are pressured by making fast good decisions all the time.

Playing in autopilot mode or become a decision maker aka focus on every spot/hand/street is necessary to achive a great wirate.

And finally the garbage is compared to every wrong decision we make ingame, we wouldn´t do in theory or in a review.

And the amount of mistakes/garbage we make compared to the pool reflects in our winrate. It decides which type of player we are, a crusher, a mediocre reg, break even or maybe slightly loosing regardless of your real ability.

Cool insights

Never forget what is your job as a professional poker player. It's very sad how a lot of players focus more on the results rather than the decisional process.

How would you define a barman's job? His job is to make good drinks, not to show a profit. This is just a consequence of him doing well his job.
In the same way, profit is a consequence of you doing well your job, which is making good decisions. In the instant you press bet/call/raise/check/fold your job is done and you really shouldn't care about anything else.

The only difference is that the barman is always getting paid when he serves a drink, while you have to deal with probabilities. But both of you will go broke in the long run by not doing well your jobs (as an example by making ****y drinks / taking poor decisions).

Thx Kiranov for your input. 100% agree.

Short version I will quit shotting NL25, because I have to pay bills and my bankaccount is some hundered bucks down. University wants $200 from me too. I don´t want to risk a shot again under this circumstances.

Let´s start a challenge 180k hands NL10 with 10bb EV +-1bb EV obv more would be better.

So far I´m at 17k hands this month. I will post a session graph and my overall graph every day.

180k hands with 10bb EV and rakeback are around $2.250 which would be enough to get even with everything and build a BR to move to NL25 next month.*Another good*reward is*getting a strong mindset or believe in my own ability if I beat*NL10 with 10bb*EV over*such a large sample.*

I´m open fore reviews, motivational quotes/videos, content pokerwise and mindsetwise and anything else that could help me to achieve my goal for this month.

Session yesterday went bad. Made in the early beginnings 2-3 mistakes and ran into some setups in the late hands. Had to quit after 5k hands, because the temperature in my room was cold as **** and I could not concentrate for any longer. Looks like I have to start my sessions earlier and finish before 22/23pm.

What a day. FML thought I´m 8-10 stacks down. Will write more later, just quick review and grind.

It´s pretty though to grind with knowing you have to cashout everything to pay your bills. I mean if I can hold the winrate and play that sample, I´m able to shot NL25/50 next month easily. But it´s really though for my mindset, because it feels like stagnating. So any loosing/even session is hurting way more. And every small mistake I do makes me angry as **** about my incompetence.

Just have to grind the next few days a really sick sample, drink a lot of energy drinks, so I´m able to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Session Comes to a good end. Last few days barely nothing worked and all that stuff that could happen, just happened way to often. But finally at the end of this first longer session/day I could book some stacks as won. Pretty nice. I´m now one step closer to get my bankaccount even. Was confident with my game today. Could manage to find the right folds all the time and I think I made a lot less mistakes than in my old days (before 09.03.17).

Tomorrow I try to hit the 10k hands somehow. Wanna get 40k hands before tuesday including todays session. Currently I´m behind the 180k NL10 hands pace 32,5k/42k. So hopefully I´m on pace after tuesday. Overall NL10 EV is at 7,5bb right now, because of a 10 stacks downer which made me playing break even for 21k hands. Made some mistakes too, so there is always space to improve.

Instrumental music without any lyrics is ok, however my suggestion is to try 75% of your poker time without any music but refresh your mind by a couple of songs each 60 mins, something like that

Hey man thx for following.

I´m fine with my 4 tables so far. If I really have some though decisions in a short time and I ran out of my timebank, I just reopen the tables.

You are completely right with the party stuff. But my issue is more the money spending habits in the past and DOTA. But I try my best to get rid of this habits.

I listen all kind of music on a low volume during my sessions. Think you are right that it could distract a little bit sometimes. But it is too hard playing for such a long time day in day out with nothing beside. Without music I feel a little bit burned out after 5-8k hands for multiple days.

Mad as **** about myself. Played only 1,5k Hands yesterday. Was distracted by some things and later really tired. Overall I was not able to grind.

That means I have to do more today. Already grinded my first 2k hands and still n the session. Will make a quick break after hand 3000.

Have a strong confidence in my game right now. Feels like I´m improving from day to day.

Results are coming late in the night.

FML ~330€ for the summer semester. Good news that were my last big costs for this month. Only food/drink and fuel for my car. Hopefully I'm even with everything by mid/end of next week. Then I can rebuild my BR for next month.

I think it will help me really a lot to play 180k hands on NL10 especially for the mindset. So I can see that regardless the run I'm able to crush it with 10bb EV. So on NL25 it should get easier to go through downswings, because I know 100% I'm a good winner with my gameplan/lines I use. That was one big leak in my last, that I changed my lines/gameplan way too fast, when I face some sick down days. I will look at the end of every month at my stats and try to find leaks in a big database than in 10k-20k hands, where everything is possible. I'm a little bit behind the 180k hand pace, but think it's doable.

Another great day in the office. Still 12k hands behind the 180k hands pace. EV is at 8,40bb/100, so 10bb/100 are absolutely alive.
