Sorry for not updating for like 6 days, but I lost a few buyins which made me not want to post embarrasing ****..

But as you can see I'm back again, because I just had my best day ever

Made $850 today including rakeback.
The reason why I played 12000 hands (16 hours) is because I really wanted to hit a $1k day, but I did not succeed in that.
But WTF i actually made $850 in one day, ****ing crazy if you start thinking about it lol!

The heater was pretty important for my BR aswell because it crippled a bit the past week, almost had to drop to 25NL again actually.

these were my results between the 17th and 22nd.

Made me realise I had to study for a bit which I did yesterday, found some massive leaks in my stats and now I'm trying to get rid of them. Hopefully today wasnt just a heater but also a sign of improvement in my strategy!

The bankroll is now sitting at $2026.47.

Hell of a run you're having. I don't know how you managed a 16 hour day. That's sick. The longest I play is in MTT's. Other than that I can't stay focused for more than a few hours in cash games and have to shut it down.

I cant complain about the run haha. I play for these hours because poker is actually the thing I enjoy doing most atm. So I'm actually having fun most of the time when I play.

Man today was such an annoying day. Played really well first few hours, after that I hit some insane bad variance and decided to take a long break. Went for a run and felt pretty good again. Got back to the grind and dropped like 4 BI's within the first 400 hands.
Pretty happy with how I recovered a bit again after that and overall my play was pretty solid. Just a day on the wrong side of variance.

So here is another update:
Played really poor today, probably one of my worst days in a little while.
Luckily I ran really hot in all-in situations, which made it look like I played a little better than I actually did. Also had an annoying headache the past 2 days, maybe taking a break tomorrow if its still the case. Probably won't though, because every time I think of taking a break I just grind even more lol.

Also I just realised I called this thread 5nl rec to 50nl reg, but I'm not really sure when you are allowed to call yourself a reg? Like how many hands do I need to beat a stake before I'm considered a reg?
Will most likely just continue this thread after 50nl aswell, if I ever get past it but i was just wondering when you can be considered a reg.

Bankroll is currently at: $2047.13

Today was a really good day for poker. Starded grinding at like 11pm so couldnt play to many hands, but the hands I played I ran/played really well

Ran it up to around +8 BI then right before I wanted to quit my session I lost around 1.5-2 BI's back, but thats whatever. Still really happy with the profit I ended up with.

For the next step in this process I decided to start taking shots at 100NL at $5k and then drop down at $3500. This means I will have atleast a good amount of BI's to take shots with, rather than what I did at previous stakes with moving up/down a lot quicker.
Also I feel like I'm still just getting used to the 50NL pool/tendencies of more skilled players, which means I definitely need to improve a lot more before I can even think about beating 100NL.

The bankroll is currently at $2347.81

I have to say the results so far have been alot better then what I expected when I started this thread. So i'm really happy about that
Hope you guys still enjoy reading the updates

Really sick results man. You have started in June with 50 bucks at NL5 and are already playing NL50? You are playing just zoom? Great achievement so far if so.

I basically got totally shafted the past 2 days, in a way I have literally never been before. I lose every single all in, get set over set and all sorts of **** like that but whatever. I still have a good enough bankroll..

Sorry for this negative update but im just madly tilted atm

This looks like my graph since April lol. MTT's have bailed me out though. I ended my session today by getting 5bet shoved on preflop by 22 while I held AA. Guy turned a set of course. No big deal, it happens. However that's the first sizable action I've gotten while holding AA in about a week. So yeah that stings a bit.

Variance is a cruel *****. Just manage that bankroll and you'll be fine. Here's to your next heater!
