Will post all week's results this weekend, plus hopefully some tagged hands if I can figure out how to do that smoothly.

Thanks. Here is the list of weekly games I played since I shared the last count.

I keep a pretty detailed log as you can see so I can look at the data (game type, speed, table size) as the sample grows - pretty interesting.

Few rules broken in this list. I reg'd a $109 with two bullets (stupid). I cashed in $89 of bonus money to help subsidize this BR cheat. Also had a $15 ticket I used where you see the $0 buy-in.

Then the last game on here I fired 5 bullets into a $33 NLO8 tournament. This was out of sheer frustration getting bad beat pretty bad on two consecutive all-in hands (lol).

Can't complain though, as now we're right back up into the $109 buy-in range and close to $160.

Here are the total stats so far after two weeks...

total games = 43 (including # of bullets fired the total is 99)
total buy in = $5625
total cash = $7812
roi = 51%
cash rate = 23%
current bankroll = $7276

BRM rules (Min-Max is in $K's):

Will run some satellites this weekend hopefully trying to get into the bigger games, and the big score is timely to at least get me back into $109 buy-ins for a while. Have a busy weekend ahead but we'll see what I can squeeze in. Feel like I'm playing really well overall and maintaining balance as some of these games go deep. Will try to post some interesting hands here too (I know I keep saying that).

Thanks for following and the support! LFG

Weekend #'s:

Games played = 12
ABI = $68
Effective cashes = 4
Two Final Tables:
- 5 of 100 in $55 holdem
- 4 of 53 in $33 NLO8
Net = -$476
Current BR = $6,800
Max Buy In right now = $109

Had a deep run in the $55 $150K on Sunday. Fired two bullets and ended 305 of 4230 runners. A bit disappointed at my "punt" here..... let me know what you think!

Had built a huge stack (probably top 30 at height with 80ish bb's). Hit a spell of super dry cards and every attempt to steal was 3bet hard. Dwindled to probably 30bb's. Then AT (one diamond) utg+2. I open. BB (who covers me) calls. 659 rainbow flow (2 diamonds). I bet in position half pot. BB calls. Turn is a 2d. BB checks. I tank and rip remaining chips (close to pot bet). BB calls with set of 2's he hit on turn. I have about 7 outs to flush and miss the river. GG

I don't think this is horrible play here but kind of an irresponsible "punty" shove. The vill's stats were pretty tight. The whole damn table was tight. Problem is he calls that flop bet. He's obviously hit the pot or on a str8 draw or set at worst. Don't really see 22 in his calling range there, especially bc I had been relatively quiet in my opening.

In my 20/20 hindsight, AT off suit is probably a fold here pre from utg+2.

Every time in these deep fields I'm reminded of the simple "chip and a chair" rule. It is absolutely vital to preserve one's tournament life and to subject those times when you put that life at risk to very deep and conservative thought.

Anyway, may take a couple days off. And hoping for a big session Wednesday. GLGLGL

No day off. 3 MTT's with brutal endings....

1) 3 bullets in the $88 40k. 200 of 609. Blah blah blah.

2) 1 bullet in the $109 80k 6 max. 31 of 975. bust out hand 88 < 44 aip. SICKfkers. Phil Nagy is responsible !!!!

3) 1 bullet in the $104.5 8k. 17 of 94. AK < AQ aip near the bubble. FUN

Continue to feel good about my decisions. We'll get another deep score here soon I'm confident. Would really be great to be in the $215 buy in range for the OSS series wknds coming up. LFG LFG LFHOOOLLLLLLDDDDDWHENWE'REDEEP.

Quick update. 14 more tournaments this week.

ABI = $72
Effective cashes = 3
Final Tables = 1 (7 of 129 in the PLO $88)
Net profit = -$826

Current bankroll = $5906
MTT Count = 72
ROI = 9%

I'm right back to running super bad when deep. Seem to lose every all in against one over card.

Cash rate continues to be strong at 25% overall (43% in Omaha mtt's though negative roi).

Was really hoping to be in the larger buy-ins for this weekend, as the OSS series volume is really starting to build. Was also hoping to be firing more bullets in satellites for the $630 games coming up (like today's). But some family things have kept me away from the tables more than expected.

I've also been playing less tournaments at once. I know a lot of MTT reg's easily play 8+ tables at once. I've always struggled with how that's really possible. For me, I like to watch almost every hand in a game, to really watch the players and feel the flow of table. When I do this with few distractions, and can piece a larger story together with the HUD stats of my table opponents I feel like my reads can be so much sharper. Even playing 4 tables makes this very tough to do. So I've been trying to play just 2-3 at a time. And when you run deep and fire multiple bullets, this really limits the volume I can get in. There's balance to be found here - between high volume to combat variance on one hand, and low volume for the sake of focus and attention on the other.

Anyway, hoping to run deep in some upcoming series tournaments soon. Could the elusive binkosaurus be coming soon.....?!?!?!?! Reading "Play Optimal Poker" begins tomorrow.

Thanks. Not exactly sure what you're asking. That score definitely helped but the goal from the outset wasn't profit-based, but rather volume and following bankroll rules (which I obliterated and will discuss in my next post)...

So last Saturday was an utter comedy of errors. My schedule cleared and I was excited about getting a few good buy-ins in. I began playing one $55 and one $55 satty into the $1M $630. There were like 300 runners and 25 spots got a ticket. As usual in these turbo satty's chip stacks right before bubble were suuuuper thin. I don't have exact details here but I was sitting on about 4.5 bb's in hi-jack. Folded to me with 66. Despite having 4.5 bb, I did have an "in the money" stack at the moment. I would guess I was 22nd in chips out of 27 left (just two to go). Honestly no idea what to do here, and I haven't ran it through any calculators. So I ripped it. The sb and bb both had about 10 bb - nothing huge. I figured the fold equity was quite strong here. Turns out bb called with JJ. GG for stone bubble +1.

Pretty titled at the sight of jacks, so I look down the lobby and see another $55 satty for the same $1M tournament. I click reg but I'm in the $630 lobby, not the actual satty lobby. ****! So now I just paid $685 to get into the $630 and really break my bankroll rules. So I calm down and part of me is excited that I get to run it of course. I spend the next couple hours running up a really nice stack.

Then I run into 77 in the cut-off. Opens to me and I min raise. BB is huge bully stack at the table. He 3-bets to 3x standard size. I flat. Flop is K78 (2 clubs). Dreamy flop. He opens about half. I tank and raise. Part of the raise is protecting against his draw hands - which there are so many combos in his aggro 3-betting range. Part of it is also trying to induce his re-raise, as in showing a "you can't bully me" back and forth. As hoped for he raises - actually he rips it all in. I probably have 40-50 or so big blinds. I think for a minute. Of course AA, 88, K8, KK all in his 3 bet range. Also so many draw combos with 2 clubs on the boards. Also simply a pair of K (AK, KQ, KJ, KT, K9). So I call and he shows KT (no flush draw). MONEY BABY! Turn is an 8. River is the case 8. GG.

I smashed my hand so hard on the desk it still hurts four days later. Then in classic degen fashion the old me comes out and I click it - "fk you, re-register". Now I'm in $1310 for one damn tournament when my buy-in rules are a max of $109 (sigh). I take a quick walk to cool down. Then settle in and run up a stack again, only to make two stupid punty river bluffs and then run JJ into AA. GG folks.

Bankroll currently = about $4200. Back in the red, but I've learned some good lessons. Been traveling for work so haven't played anything since Saturday.

Taking a hard look at this challenge (which runs through this month) there is no way I can make the total buy-in count. So I'm not going for heavy heavy volume anymore. Some family issues have come up in the last few weeks which are a big part of this.

Revised Goals.....
1) Follow BR rules from here on (I know, I know, but I have to keep trying). I'm going to give myself one exception to this if I can find a really good $215 buy-in in the BOSS series, I will fire one bullet regardless of bankroll. It has to be good game selection however.

2) Play 50 unique tournaments for the remainder of March (not including re-buys). This is doable but will still be a stretch with my work and family schedule.

3) Read Andrew Brokos book on Game Theory.

4) Post at least 5 interesting hands.

5) No complaining about bad beats.

Back in the red and a little beaten up, but not worried and feeling refreshed and ready....LFG

Sooo..... battling sick kids (no corono and complete emergencies at work given the equity markets. Thus, I'm suspending this challenge for the time being. I may pick it back up for April, and basically move March goals to April, but I've hardly been able to get any games in this past week and it's just too life-crazy to try to do this now.

Thanks to all who followed along. Had one good score given the aggressive bankroll rules which I'm proud of. Otherwise, timing just not good.

Okay I'm back baby! *Got through some rough weeks and now going to hit the tables again - fields are getting huge! My bonus period on the skin I was playing has expired, so I'm switching back to my main WPN account and starting with a bankroll of*$10K. Unfortunately I will not be sharing my table name on this site, but I will post my results for my own accountability's sake and when I have notable scores I'll post screenshots (sans screen-name) here and hopefully some interesting hands.

My focus has shifted a bit from as heavy volume as possible to smarter entries and more focused play.

Here are the revised RULES...

1. MTT only2. Strict BRM according the following schedule:
$4-7.5K = BI max of $109
7.5-10 = 160
10-15 = 215
15-20 = 420
20-30 = 630

3. 2 bullets max on 109's and up; 3 bullets max below 109

Revised GOALS: For now the goals through June 30th are....

1. Follow the *&%ing rules*
2. Log all games in Excel
3. Play 200 MTTs (I think this is doable over 75 days)
4. Finish Play Optimal Poker

Again, there will be no monetary goal for these short time horizons. LFG me.

Well, sorry for the double pump-fake but I'm not going to update this for now. Had a nice score last weekend and want to play different stakes. So, not going to keep updating these lower buy-ins.

If you've been reading at all, thanks and sorry. SEEYAONTHEFELT
