Hello!

This is probably my last thread in this forum.
Playing a couple of good years with mediocre results. Had some good times and had some really bad times. Overall lifetime winner playing zoom poker.

The goal of this thread is to:
1) Post poker results, hands, goals etc.
2) Talk about crypto trading
3) Talk random stuff regarding life in general

So this year has been pretty good pokerwise:

Still trying to move to NL100z. Actually I did play a few hands this year, but my main game is still NL50z

Reasons for not moving up yet:
a) Withdraw too much
b) Im not sure I could win there longterm 6bb+
c) Keeping risk low

Lately crypto trading is going ok and it will probably be my main focus this year because I think the potential of amount $ to be won is much higher in crypto trading than in poker although the same thing could be said about the amount of $ lost.

2020 GOALS
1) Take care of my family
2) Do a lot of sports( currently 105 kg)
3) Move to NL200z
4) Make crypto trading my main income source

P.S.
I will be posting randomly whenever I feel like

Serious questions:

- Do you think you have problems with tilt? I remember from last thread that you could lose over 20BI in one session and grind it all back in the same session.
- If you have tilt problems, how do you play when tilted?
- How do you study, and what do you think you have to work on?

GL btw, enjoyed your previous thread!

Yes I think I have some " mental" issues sometimes:
a) most of time I think Im better than every reg
b) I talk to myself how obvious and unbalanced are most of the playerpool
c) If Im losing I just cant stop till Im am least breakeven no matter the amount of time I spend playing
So obviously I have some tilt problems, but I think its much better now than it was couple of years ago.

The best thing you can do in game is to realize you played the hand max EV possible and there is nothing you can do about it besides being patient and wait for the " good spots"

The way I study:
1) analyze hands
2) analyze players durring session
3) try to prepare myself as best as possible for every session( being physically rested, calm mentally)
4) adapt to my opponents as best as possible

Also I have CHAT OFF so I cant see what other people are writing and I dont type them anything. I just avoid losing time for short-term emotional non-sense;
I also use the $ to BB convert to help me think better about decisions and not $

When people talk about moving up stakes it doesn't mean you have to physically walk up some stairs to get to 100z.

when I say work I refer to the time studying new opponents and dealing with variance while trying to adapt and not make too many mistakes

I'm joking. Yeah I guess there is a somewhat noticeable jump between 50z and 100z.

Went to the gym today since October last year. Trying to make it a habbit again.
Keeping it simple: 3x a week= 1 time cardio, twice workout where I do 1 time upper body and the other time lower body
Still going to the gym is NOT the most important thing, but DIET is.
Also trying Intermittent Fasting 16:8.
I will play a LONG session today.
I'm also LONG on EOS. Hoping for 12-14$ price lol

sounds like you trade long term, gl on eos!

Except from the start it looks like a nice day in the Tour the France.

Well today is a good of example how much variance is in trading crypto.
Pretty standart movement by the market which is a new opportunity for trading as always.
Best thing you can in poker is manage your bankroll correctly. Best thing you can do in crypto trading is manage your risk towards your positions.
Even though I had a bad day yesterday/ today in poker I still have more than 100bi in my account which helps me avoid risk and bad money management outside of poker.
Same goes for trading crypto and my long position: even though I had a bad day today, I'm in a good position because of risk management.
Winning in poker is all about mental game: having faith in a strategy that works and not being stressed out emotionally by variance
Winning in trading crypto is also about having a good mental game

Crypto, do you trade directly on platform, or set up long short spots with stock trading platforms? I am simple with crypto, put in some every once in awhile, cash out when ahead, start over.

Hey, mate. It's nice to see you again.

"b) Im not sure I could win there longterm 6bb+"

Which winrate would you "accept" in order to play a higher limit? Only 6+? 5? 4?

In my case, for example, I'd accept 3+ to play any limit. Less than that I think I wouldn't because it would have so much variance, and probably would move down.

Good luck!

Month of February

Decent month

Gaining more and more experience in trading and results are positive, hopefully by the end of year I will be making more money from trading than from poker

Poker
March so far

Running above EV because of some spots where I just cant find fold, but get lucky

Some hands:

1) Run good

PokerStars - Hold'em Cash Games - $0.25/0.50 Blinds - 6 Players
Hand Converter by Pokerhand.org

Player1 (BTN): $50
Player2 (SB): $76.16
Hero (BB): $99.54
Player4 (UTG): $50
Player5 (UTG+1): $340.26
Player6 (CO): $69.51

Pre-flop: Dealt to Hero 7 7
Player4 raises to $1.25, (1 folds), Player6 calls $1.25, (1 folds), Player2 calls $1, Hero calls $.75

Flop: ($5) 6 K 7 (4 Players)
Player2 checks, Hero checks, Player4 checks, Player6 checks

Turn: ($5) 3 (4 Players)
Player2 bets $4.50, Hero raises to $17.79, (2 folds), Player2 raises to $70.41, Hero calls $57.12

River: ($150.32) 6 (2 Players)

Player2 Showed 4 5
Hero Showed 7 7
Hero wins $152.82

OBV have to raise turn and call allin, not that many 45s from SB... BUT its vs fish so they probably always have this hand from SB and many other worse hands

2) Easy game vs weak player

PokerStars - Hold'em Cash Games - $0.25/0.50 Blinds - 6 Players
Hand Converter by Pokerhand.org

Player1 (BTN): $68.48
Hero (SB): $167.88
Player3 (BB): $69.61
Player4 (UTG): $51.60
Player5 (UTG+1): $37.45
Player6 (CO): $61.90

Pre-flop: Dealt to Hero A J
(3 folds), Player1 raises to $1.75, Hero calls $1.50, Player3 calls $1.25

Flop: ($5.25) 6 5 J (3 Players)
Hero checks, Player3 checks, Player1 bets $3.25, Hero calls $3.25, (1 folds)

Turn: ($11.75) T (2 Players)
Hero checks, Player1 bets $5.58, Hero raises to $17.41, Player1 calls $11.83

River: ($46.57) T (2 Players)
Hero checks, Player1 bets $46.07, Hero calls $46.07
Player1 Showed A K
Hero Showed A J
Hero wins $136.71

3) Cooler

PokerStars - Hold'em Cash Games - $0.25/0.50 Blinds - 6 Players
Hand Converter by Pokerhand.org

Player1 (BTN): $49.25
Player2 (SB): $57.94
Hero (BB): $71.08
Player4 (UTG): $53.73
Player5 (UTG+1): $58.66
Player6 (CO): $174.40

Pre-flop: Dealt to Hero Q A
(1 folds), Player5 raises to $1.50, Player6 calls $1.50, (1 folds), Player2 calls $1.25, Hero calls $1

Flop: ($6) K J T (4 Players)
Player2 checks, Hero checks, Player5 bets $2, Player6 raises to $6.50, (1 folds), Hero calls $6.50, Player5 calls $4.50

Turn: ($25.50) 3 (3 Players)
Hero checks, Player5 checks, Player6 checks

River: ($25.50) 6 (3 Players)
Hero checks, Player5 bets $12.50, (1 folds), Hero raises to $63.08, Player5 calls $38.16
Hero Showed Q A
Player5 Showed Q 9
Hero wins $12.42
Hero wins $124.82

So preflop its probably 50% squueze 50% call, postflop vs reg no other way to play it

I think I will play more NL100 this month, hopefully volume will be 75% NL100 and 25% NL50

Crypto trading
So far BTC is trading in a price range which is normal after price increase from 6500 to 10500 and correction from 10500 to 8500
At this point I except volume to drop down and wait for next massive move

Life related

Did some cardio yesterday. Still have to work more on my diet.

Wtf that 2nd hand...

Doing well as always, mate. Do you have long/big samples (something around 100k) in nl50z which you're losing?

Best regards.
