So yeah, here is a long overdue update:

Lets start with the depressing part:
As you can all imagine I went on the most soulcrushing downswing, which lets be honest we all saw coming.
I've had been sunrunning for quite a few months I guess and that made me believe I was able to play 200nl profitably. I can tell you right now that opinion has changed haha.

200NL graph since last update:

Obviously one of the most disgusting graphs I and all of you have probably ever seen haha. It's not that bad considering I was up around $9k EV on 200 before getting this ****. So overall I'm down only around 20BI's

So now the positive part:
It has not all been complete ****, as a matter of fact I seem to be crushing 100NL over a very reasonable sample size, which keeps me motivated to keep getting better and improve my playstyle every day if possible!

I'm extremely pleased with the 4.7 ev/bb for sure.

So now I'm at a point where I am really confused, how the difference between 100NL and 200NL could be this insane. It's obviously also runbad at 200 and probably rungood at 100, but still these graph are just messing with my head.

Also the past few days I have been slacking quite a bit poker wise, so I am going to set myself a challenge to play atleast 25k hands of 100NL in the next 3 days. I'm going to try and update after every day starting tomorrow.

Bankroll is at around $11k.

Sick volume lol, ul mate i had same at lower stakes just got to attribute a lot to variance but also try and cypher how the stakes probably play very differently and your exploits at 100 are probably counter productive at 200 gl though sure you will turn it round

Also would be interested to see showdown lines at both

Just finished my first day of the 25k hand challenge, made it almost halfway in 1 day haha.



Not really alot happened today, could have made alot more but got some real bad coolers and didnt run great in general. But still happy I've made some profit.
Also the most hands I have played in 1 day in my life .

Today was quite a bit better than yesterday, had some unfortunate hands at the end of the session. I guess thats to be expected after the good fortune I had the rest of the day!



update on the 25k hands in 3 days so far:



Around 7.5k hands to play tomorrow, to finish the challenge. Should be doable hopefully can keep it at around 8 ev BB !

Sick thread. Cool to see such rapid progression in this day and age.

Difference between player pools can be huge. Fish mostly stay the same but reg to fish ratios can shift a lot and the regs can be much, much better or just play in a way you aren't adapted to yet (or exploiting you ).

Every hand you've posted seems very well played and I like your thought process, you'll go far. Don't neglect the mental game. If you put the work in you can play almost 100% focused A game. No spew = $$$
