You are having some crazy swings during your sessions (maybe it is normal by playing such a volume). How do you keep your mindset in good shape during these sessions ? Maybe I missed it, but what is your winrate thru your recent journey if this is not a secret? GL at the tables !

Had another bad session today seems to never end..
I'm going to give you a monthly report here:

For me this month started of extremely well, but around halfway through the month I just started losing money all of a sudden and this basically didnt stop for the rest of the month. Putting me back to around where I started at the beginning of august.
Which actually really tilts me, it tilts me so hard that I am going to have to take a break from poker for atleast a week I feel like. I just need to get my head straight again.
So this will be the last update in a little while but I will be back in the future!

The 1 week break I was planning on taking lasted around 6 hours (the time I slept LOL)
I started the day doing a lot of work on primarely suited connectors and pocket pair in snowie. Also checked some blind defence, because my bb was like -52bb/100 which is terrible.
I also started playing deepstacked, I used to rebuy everytime I hit over 150bb.

Then I started playing again and it actually went really well

Here I am back with a new update which I havent made in a long time!

Lets start with a month recap:

Really disappointing month for me to be honest..
Made like $1500 but all of it was because I ran so far above EV...
This is something I really hate, even though I should be enjoying it for as long as it lasts.

Playwise I feel like I had a click-moment halfway through the month and I started playing alot better afterwards.

The past +- 2 weeks I have been taking a bit of a break, while no-lifing the **** out of fifa 18 . Today I played my first big session again in the new month, which went really well. Feel like my mind is refreshed again and I am ready to get back at the crushing

Yea was on my way to like 150k hands LOL, but I think the break was a good thing. I play on xbox, still getting used to all the weird **** this year in fifa. But I like it so far, really into trading on ultimate team aswell.

Haha yeah, some weird stuff going on but I read they are patching the GKs and something about shots so should be less of those 5-4 games Ultimate Team is great, do you have a good team yet?

Yeah they already did some patches on pc, I heard. You might aswell play without a GK atm, they are just horrific haha.
I've only played draft so far like 50 of them and 0 walkouts.
So no team just around 1.75m coins. How about you?

Probably less then 1000 hands of last month were at a different stake then 100.

That's a nice amount of coins already, certainly a lot more than what I've earned, but haven't played that much either. I'm building a Premier League team, so it's a hard grind. Jesus, Martial, Coutinho, Valencia are my biggest buys so far, but it's great fun this game!

Been a few days sincemy last update so figured I should make 1 again.

Havinga pretty bizarre month so far, really happy with how I'mplaying EV-bb is also finally showing some good numbers, but now the real money isnt working along haha.
However I can't complain about that after the past few months



As you can see started the month running hotter then the sun, and then I hit some bad variance. I probably tilted like mad aswell during that downswing, but I didnt really pick up the signs until it was to late already.
After that massive crash I started to read an study ' the mental game of poker', and I have to say it is already so useful for me.
I can't remember the last time I got frustrated/angry/tilted to a point where I couldn't get my emotions under control anymore since I started reading it.
I feel like the last 15k hands I played incredibly well for my standards, and I will continue doing so when I keep controlling my emotions.

Will be back with another update at the end of october probably, or sooner if I feel like I have something interesting to tell.

For the last 2 days I've been putting in decent volume again, after slacking alot while playing fifa 18.
I am extremely happy with how I have been playing this month so far and the results are starting to show aswell

October update:

Just finished the month october, after a slow start volume wise, I managed to still put in a decent grind and play alot of hands.

This is the first month at 100NL where I actually manage to get a decent enough winrate (3ev/bb). Really happy with that obviously and hoping I can keep it up.

Very happy obviously with the 100NL graph, did take a couple of shots at 200NL, lost around 12BI (9BI ev). Really ****ty obviously to have shots go like that, but whatever sometimes things just don't go how you would like it to go haha.

Overall I made around $2k this month, which I am somewhat happy with, obviously it's not an insane amount but the progression every month is what makes me happy with it.

Goals for november:

Poker goals:
-Playing 100-150k hands
-Take a new 200NL shot if my BR allows it ($10k)
-Try to end the month at 3.5ev/bb
Real life goals:
-Go to the gym 4x a week (have been completing this for 2 months now without missing 1 training)
-Get some progress in my life regarding my mental issues.(anxiety/depression)

Was actually looking at my first thread which started 4.5 months ago, and I noticed that 4 months ago I had $250 on my account and no clue how to play poker.
This obviously is a massive motivation for me to keep going strong!
