#7 If he is check raise heavy on that turn I think it's nice to check back and evaluate river. If he folds there a lot I bet. As played I think turn is a fold cause you're often way behind is range.

Well obviously we don't expect to get checkraised there alot, that is not the concern. We are not gonna have stats on that for random recs in general. The reason to bet there would be to fold out some hands and build a pot.

As played we are surely behind ott, but we need only ~30% equity on the call vs this specific hand alone, 10J has 28% here. So if we decided to bet bigger we were surely committed.

I think it's a meh bluffing spot in general against recs/50z regs, but I'd probably end up bet/calling the monster combo draws such as this one along with my Qx+. We get the fold once in a blue moon and making breakeven gambool bet/calls has some entertainment value.

I would be careful betting the hands that have a decent equity piece but have to bet/fold. They shouldn't jam much but they will.

Yeah I most times end up calling, because some of me likes the thrill of big flips. Should be careful though with getting in to much of this kind of spots. Especially because recs only run it one time.

Sup guys, haven't updated in a while.

First of all I'm very motivated for the new year, the same goals still stand as when I started this thread. I've only altered my approach I guess. Things were not really going well last months in terms of results. I put in a ton of volume 4 tabling, but in the end we were breakeven with a litte rakeback.

2 days ago a real setback happened, I lost 10 buyins over the spawn of 4k hands in a few small sessions. Some of it was runbad, some of it was tilt I guess. In the end I just shouldn't be allowing myself to lose that much in one day.

Overall that session made me just feel bad about my game, my approach etc. so that make me finally take a step back. From now on I'm going to focus less on volume but more on learning and smaller sessions.

Other things that changed:

-Made some changes to my preflop and postflop game.
-I have a new studygroup on skype which I discuss hands with and I'm also doing a lot more hand reviews myself.
-I 3 table now instead of 4-tabling.

Hi guys,

Due to really bad results over the last few weeks I decided to change things drastically. I felt really depressed/tilted/frustrated after losing 30 BI since the start of this year over 40k hands (I actually 3-tabled). It was just losing session after losing session. I played over ~200k hands at 50nl zoom, but never had such a bad streak. All those poor results didn't give me much confidence in my game at all, while my stats looked better than ever strangely enough.

I now decided to cash out a bunch of $, to start out with a fresh new roll for 25z. I still feel I'm capable to play at 50z, but given the past weeks I think I can build more confidence at playing 25z. Will help my mental game a lot.
I'm curious to see how I will perform there.

For now I probably take a couple days off, than start grinding a bunch.
