Sorry for not getting to the freerolls sooner. Its been a crazy lately. I've lost my phone, which i was using to track my play and create the graphs for this thread, we are getting ready to move out of our apartment, we are selling all of our worldly possesions, etc etc etc.

Been an interesting month as far as poker goes. Had a stretch recently where I won $1700 one day, cashed for $300 in a tourney, and won a tourney for $1300 two days later and was down at least $1k over that 3 day stretch. Fun, Fun. Been playing a few tourneys recently to get some practice for WSOP Europe. Been doing pretty well. Shipped one, Cashed in 3, Busted 9th(6pay) with 4th biggest stack with AA v KQ, in another tourney. Probably played 9-12 tourneys in last week.

OK, Freerolls. Looks like schmidt.jamie(1), OGSlickRick(2), goktrenks(3), DivineGlory(4), and Brokenstars(5) all qualified for the freerolls. We have two $50 prizes to be handed out. I'll use a random number generator to give out the two prizes. First two numbers selected win.

And the winners are

Thanks, Rick. GL to you. Hope you're still battling hard on Bovada. The biggest disappointment about the phone is that I can't update/wrap up this thread with a final graph as the tracking app I used was on my phone. So it goes.

Sup Truck. Prague is going pretty good overall, if a little slow. We had a bit of trouble with a place canceling on us as we about to get in the taxi at the airport, and all the subsequent scrambling that happened after that, but we've been settled in for a while now. We met up with some 2+2ers one nights for dinner, and then went out for whisky and cubans afterwards. Cool people, good times.

We've done a little sight seeing, gone out to a lot of czech places for dinner, walked down by the river one night with a few beers. Still have tons to see and do. Headed up to Leipzig this weekend to see the Trout.

Havent played much poker since the original move in philly, as I just got a bank account set up here and I'm still trying to get verified to play on PokerStars. Sent my documents today, hopefully will be on tomorrow.

As far as the tournies, I'll let you know what I'm playing/selling. Crazy story, I actually won the Full Flush SOPS main event the night before we left. I had a free entry for the tourney because of the other tourney i won that I mentioned on the 23rd(a few posts back), but wasn't really planning on playing because of all the craziness with moving. We were thinking about going to your house, maybe to my wife's parents, but decided to stay at my parents' house because someone was thinking of coming to buy my car. They never showed up, but while waiting I started playing the tourney, and just kept playing and playing until there was no one else left with chips. Lucky break there and a good way to start off the trip.

$16k. 317 or so players. This might have been the first actual poker series on FullFlush so not a ton of people for a main event(hence why I was considering skipping). It was $80k guaranteed and even after rebuys and addons, it still overlayed something like $15k. It's a pretty good site for tourneys in the sense of weak fields, not as much in the sense of many high buyin tourneys.

Also, payouts have gotten a little slow at FullFlush, but assuming(hoping??) they take an upturn, it's a pretty good option for US players. I guess these are the tradeoffs tho. If you want good games, you might have to wait for your money a bit. Either way, I'll be off FF for a bit until I have a fair bit of my balance moved off the site. If anyone wants to take my spot and start all the $200nl games feel free.

its 16k playmoney. Fullflush is a scam site. People talking about it are simply trying to get more guys on it in hope that they get some liquidity back and receive their payouts.

I've been playing FF for a while now. They have always paid me, and the few other regs I've chatted with have said the same. Yes, they are definitely getting much slower in payouts, and yes that sucks, I agree. Payouts are still coming in however, I got one the other day, couple of people posted about receiving payments too in the withdrawal thread. Again, I agree slow payouts are concerning, that's the whole reason I wrote the second paragraph after talking about the site. Furthermore, if you read the whole thread, I've mentioned plenty of times about how their slow payouts concern me, and keep me from playing full time on their site.

Sorry, if I upset you. Guess I just have a little more optimistic view than you. On the bright side, my affiliate still seems to have full trust in the site, and says he talks to the owners in person from time to time. GL to you in getting your money off, and GL at the tables. PS have we played together on FF?

Thanks. Yeah, biggest tourney win, at least until WSOP Europe in a few weeks.

Food very meat based, pork, sausage, duck, etc with dumplings, cabbage, potatoes, etc. So been a little tough for the non meat eaters among us, but I've enjoyed it all. Beer here is awesome too. Not to mention, literally cheaper than water, so drinking a fair bit of Czech beers.

Im very involved in the industry and your affiliate is on the spectrum and trying to squeeze the last $ out of the site. He is probably friendly with them.

I have one of the largest affiliate in the world waiting for a hundred k for almost a year. No one recommends the site except "your affiliate". Same with merge. Getting other depositor's money every now and then does not mean they are paying, it just means you know someone inside thats willing to share the spoils of the ponzi.

I would love nothing more than to send 10-20 of my guys on fullflush and merge as any monkey that beats nl10 on a regular site will crush midstakes there. But they are both ponzi's nowadays. Everyone in the industry knows. Those saying otherwise are scammers with ties to the group.

I play on Bovada, I used to play on Merge and WPN. I just recently had my check on Merge get processed after a 4 month wait. So I'm pretty happy about that. GL in Europe !

Cool. I used to play a bunch on Bovada. Games are really good, but anonymous play can get old. I like having opponents to hate and battle with. Seems much more grindy on Bovada.

I used to play a bunch on Carbon too, but they restricted me all the way down to two tables max, so I stopped playing there. Sounds like it could have actually been good luck since their payouts have gotten so slow.

That's why it's always important to diversify a bit in sites, and never leave too much money on an US site. There is always a bit of risk, so you should not play with more than you can afford to lose. With regards to what MX210 was saying about FullFlush, he never gave me more info, and all info I've found online is much more positive. I'm still not happy with their cashout speeds but my affiliate still stands by them. I'm supposed to get a cashout by next week. We will see.

Good news! I finally am on another poker site. BetOnline is my new home. Landed in Prague on Aug 4, and have been trying to get on PS ever since, but too much of a pain in the ass to get verified. No wonder Stinger MA'd.

BetOnline seems to have a decent amount of action and I'm looking forward to getting back in the 6max streets. Anyone else playing there?

I use different sizings for 3betting in position and out of position and use those sizings regardless of my actual hand. I make my sizing slightly larger than pot when OOP because the player who is in position has a natural advantage and I don't want to give him as good odds to call which helps mitigate that advantage. When I'm in position, I 3bet slightly smaller than pot because I don't mind my opponents calling wider because I have the advantage of playing the rest of the hand in position.

GL to you as well, if you're looking for a lot of strat, this might not be the thread for you, but you're welcome to follow either way.

PRAGUE UPDATE/TRIP REPORT

It's been a while since I've posted here. Time to get caught up. I spent a month in Prague and have since moved on and been in Athens for the last week. Overall, things have been pretty awesome, although our trip started off pretty poorly.

The day we were leaving the US our airBnB that we had reserved for a month canceled on us, so we hurried and booked another one. It wasn't ready for a day, so we stayed at the airport hotel for a night. The next morning we called a cab from the hotel, and as we let the owner know we are on the way, he tells us the place is no longer available. WTF?!? So then we spend the next few hours in a Ramada hotel lobby, searching for another place to stay. Eventually, we get another room for the night and an apt for the next month.

We get to our room around 5pm and at 7pm meet up with a bunch of 2p2ers for dinner. Really cool group of people. Shockingly, 5 of the 7 of us had lived in Pennsylvania, my home state, for at least some of their lives. After dinner we went to a whisky and cigar bar, and drank Japanese whiskey and smoked Cuban cigars into the wee hours. The next morning got settled into the apt that we stayed in for the rest of our time there.

I then began my next nightmarish struggle. I was looking forward to getting on Pokerstars, playing on a site that I can trust, always get action, use a reasonable HUD and really find out how I do on a tougher site. I spent the next week+ trying to provide proper documentation to Stars to prove I was out of the US. They need an address. Airbnb lease wasn't good enough. Need a bank account in Czech. First bank won't let me open account. Next bank needs a Czech phone #. I get a phone. Bank statement can only use my passport address, Pokerstars wont accept it. Etc Etc

I tried a lot of sites, and ran in the same problem. It was a Kafka-esque(fittingly in his hometown) nightmare. Red tape everywhere. Finally, finally opened a BetOnline Account and started playing around the 17th. Max deposit was $500. After a day I was down to $150, and couldn't deposit more until that account was verified which took another few days. But... finally we have a new site to play on, reasonable cashouts, and are good to go.
