Hey,
no excuses. I work about 40 hrs a week and do almost nothing else. And I still find the time to log about 0.03 hrs of poker in a month plus a solid 2 hrs of roulette a month. I'm living the dream and u can too. Good luck!
Hey, man. No excuse with your hours. I have a full time job and have played about 60 hours live in two weeks. You need to focus and commit. Forget all that crap stuff about exercising and playing "walleyball " whatever that is.
Hey fella, welcome to the thread. The walleyball is the future, or was it the past, either way, you should come out and play someday.

If I wasn't such a slacker, you wouldn't be justhereforthe$$, now would you. You wouldn't even exist. So therefore, I have created you.
I am truck. Hello good luck with the challenge but keep up the good work with the hours more money for us💰💰💰💸 well see ya on the pitch and #teamgold.
I see now why you were late for soccer practice. Damn fools. Will update for the month later this afternoon or if not tomorrow. Also will draw for for freeroll winners. GL.
I was $250 off from a $10k month, but had 2 small($150,$170) losing sessions on FullFlush, and then won a few dollars on Bovada, but didn't quite make it. Good news is I was down about $500 on Bovada before winnning a big 3 way allin with AA>QQ>JTs 3 hands before I quit.
I played 82 sessions, but only totaled 135 hours this month, so gotta pay someone I guess. I fell far behind on the Coursera classes, and dropped out but feeling really good everywhere else. I'm keeping busy with fitness and balanced with eating and even started cooking a little myself

Pretty sure that one might have got me to the goal, but so it goes. Here's to a $10k March.
MARCH Goals
[ ] 175 hrs of play or $100 giveaway
[ ] Finish Outliers by Malcom Gladwell and be at least 3 chapters into next book by beginning of April or give out $50
[ ] Run 15 miles outside this month or pay out $50. Sounds easy but now have boxing, walleyball, ice hockey, and soccer once a week and hitting the gym 3-4 times a week as well. Its also been snowy and icy for the last 3 weeks and has been around 25F in Philly recently.
[ ] win the poker tourney at youvejustbeentrucked's house. Woulda been a big favorite to win last year but mucked a full house on the river thinking I had two pair because I thought the river was a 8 instead of a 6. I recently started wearing glasses to fix that leak in my poker game and am gonna take it down this year for sure.
I'm going to use random.org with 31 entries and gonna pay the first two posters who aren't me. First one chosen wins $100 because I didn't reach my 200 hr goal and second one chosen receives the $75 random participation award.
Lol randomness. Quote to claim your prize. If unclaimed by the first two posters that aren't me in a week, the next in line wins if they claim. Giveaway will expire at the end of March. Thanks for following. Stick around and try to win next month.
I really like where I'm living now. Right on the edge of Center City Philly with access to nice restaurants, running paths, nightlife etc. I'm not looking for the suburb lifestyle right now. Also, not sure the Jersey games would be much better than the grey area sites I'm playing now.

I think I Binked the random participation award lol. Good stuff
Almost $10K sounds like an awesome month. Keep up the good work.

That 7_4 was double suited. Sick hand. And I have no idea how to tell if I won but I'm pretty sure I did.
I cannot confirm or deny if you have won or lost. You must determine your own destiny. The GTO way to find out if you have won is to look at each number, starting from the left, and find the post in this thread that shares the number. First two that are not my posts that quote and claim there prize gets shipped the money. I purposely tried to make it a bit of a sweat/struggle for you guys.
Cashouts are interesting. I requested a check on Jan 9th and after 2 weeks, they told me they had a backlog of checks, and offered me Moneygram payouts. They instantly sent 1/2 the money, and then a second payment a few days later.
However, I later requested another payment through Moneygram, and there was a large fee charged(14%). The $48 fee is flat, but the Moneygram payout is capped at $700, so it will always be minimum 14%, possibly more.
I wasn't happy with that rate, so I've requested a check for my latest cashout. I requested the check on Thursday, and it is currently processing. The stated times for checks are 10-15 business days. Unfortunately, I believe that is from the processed date not the requested date, so it could end up being 20ish days.
By comparison, most Bovada checks process in hrs or a day, and arrive in 3-6 days.

I don't like your attitude my crustaceous friend. We only want positive people around here.
You will all be shocked to know that I remain solidly behind pace on my hours(32 so far) played goals. I haven't played at all since Friday because of soccer practice, soccer meetings, and of course, Youjustbeentrucked's tourney.
[x] win the tourney
The tourney was a lot of fun as always, and I managed to take it down. I even did our host, youjustbeentrucked dirty, on a pretty big hand with about 6 left.
1k/2k
I opened CO with A2 with a medium stack to 4200 and YJBT flatted the BUT with about 2/3 as many chips as me.
Flop: 764
Pot: 11400
I check, YJBT checks
Turn: 764T
I check, YJBT bets like 8k, and I jam for about 10-15k more effective, YJBT snaps with KK
River: 764TA
BINK!
Pretty donkish hand really, but we have insane amounts of history, and I was on my 5th beer, and you never really know what's going on when your playing with Truck. GG to him. WP and UL.
I have not run outside yet, although today is nice, perhaps I'll do a short run. I've been progressing through Outliers, and hearing all of the success stories in the books, shames me into being more motivated and gets me going a lot of days. Hope everyone else is doing well. Unless I've missed it, the top two winners of the freeroll haven't claimed their prizes and my young homie, OGSlickRick will win the first prize. Posters who are next in line, or are one of the original winners who missed the boat, will be given the last prize on a first come first serve basis. If it's not claimed by the end of the month, I'm the winner.
I think I Binked the random participation award lol. Good stuff

PM me for how you want the $100. I can do PayPal or mail a check or w/e you want. I saw your location was Virginia. If you ever play live at Parx, Harrah's Philly, or maybe even AC, we could meet up and I'll give you the $100, plus buy you a beer. Congrats.
Everyone else might want to double check as the winners still have not claimed.
