How do you work on your HU plo game? like do you do anything specific after sessions, like hands review or running some sims in propokertools, or using solver?

do you think solver might be useful in fixing some hu plo leaks? especially preflop, like not folding enough (or too much) to 3bets?

3-4k monthly expenses is pretty absurd when you're trying to build up a bankroll. Best to live in squalor and eat PB&J until you can build up a solid bankroll.

Ya, to be honest the 3-4k is an exaggeration. Lately i've had life expenses that were unexpected which is the reason behind that number (vet bills, health bills, residency lawyer bills etc) I'd guess my living expenses on average are closer to 1500-2k if nothing else is going wrong

It seems impossible to make a living playing just mixed games online. One has to focus in NL or PLO.

Why are there so few games running? I remember a few years ago there were several games running and in highstakes players took some shots when there wasn't action in Nl and PLO tables. Is it because of the change with cap on big bet games or the trafic was already down before that?

I do play both NL and PLO, but the mixed games are better action as of right now IMO. I was ahead of the curve in PLO for like a year, and then everyone caught up and surpassed me. I still play HU PLO in good pools.

ey yo ceegee, could you please elaborate a little on this?

i'm very new to solvers, I know there's monker solver and you have to buy percaltulated solutions for it (for 100bb heads up plo for example).

what kind of solution pack are you using for monker? and what do you mean "simplifed strategy using monker"?

Hey Chris spent my night reading from beginning to end of this post, thank you for sharing your journey it is was insightful to the reality of what a professional Poker player is going through. I hope to implement the lessons you've outlined in your posts in my own game to get better and continue to strive one day to crush the nosebleeds.

If you could start all over is there anything you would do differently or implement much sooner?
