I always wanted to make some kind of challenge, so here I am. The challenge is to go from $50 to $5k before New Year's eve playing only SNG's (mostly MTT). Let me just introduce myself and explain a little bit more about it.

Quick intro: So, I'm 'clarkkkkent', a Brazilian amateur poker player. I've started playing when I was only 14, learnt how to play just for fun and after I turned 18, I started playing real money (online and live). After that, I tried to improve my game a lot, and got some little results (probably around $8K in prizes plus some cash game earnings). Now I'm 20 and I got some free time until next year, and I thought I could create this challenge, as a way to actually take poker more serious.

The challenge: I cleaned up my Pokerstars account and left only $50 behind. The challenge is to turn this initial $50 into $5K before New Year's eve, by playing only SNG (mostly 18-180men). I'll be using strict BRM (basically going up when reaching 100 buyins for the next level, and going down if I get to 100 buyins of the level before).

The goal: Besides building a bankroll up to $5K in about one month, the goal is to play as much as I can (probably around 10h a day). I also want to update this thread daily, with graphs and important hands.
And the most important part: IF I CAN GET THIS DONE, I WILL DONATE $1K FROM THE BANKROLL TO CHARITY.

I'm going to start with 50c 45, 90 and 180men...

I will probably play 9 handed only if I need to put more volume, though I'll try to concentrate on the MTT's as I'm going to try to multitable really hard.

Thanks for the support! So, I'm still testing uot the number of tables and which games exactly I'm going to play. But I'm trying to keep around 30 tables. And the goal is to reach $5K post-RB so yeah, Stellar rewards will totally count.

So, let's talk about results.
Yesterday I played just 87 games (45, 90 and 180s) and got a huge downswing. At the end of the day, I was sitting with a bankroll of $33.31 . Here's the graph for yesterday's session (somehow the EV line isn't working properly on HEM):


Today I mixed the games with the 9s, kept playing around 30 tables (and sometimes even more) and things worked better. I managed to recover what I lost and still got a little profit. Right now, my current bankroll is $54.38 . Here's the overall graph until now:


I'll probably do more tests through the weekend on my setups and start grinding hard on Monday. Thanks again for all of your support guys, GL for all!

Would be sick if u could keep this up with 10h a day. And 5k in a month sounds impossible with this starting roll. But hey the sky is the limit ^^ Also like the charity goal GL man.

Thanks for the support man! I'm still not grinding so many hours, as I'm solving some things in my personal life and still testing my setup here. But I'm planning to start making it 10h a day on Monday.

Also, thanks for telling me about the e-mail in the image. I just can't edit the post anymore, not sure why. I'll probably try to report it, see if it works.

Anyway, I know it sounds impossible but I really like big challenges (like Boku87 did some years ago and even what masuronike did was really amazing). So, if I can actually achieve the goal, why not donating a part of it? Would be awesome to start the new year like that!
