Not a great start yesterday was playing real well at first an running good then started playing poorly and lost interest so stopped before I played silly .

Start again today try and stay focused which I domt know if it's just me I find that real hard at these stakes .

Think I played around 1500 hands for a profit of $1.50 ish I will put proper numbers on later an also try get the graphs up ..

Yh true if only I could do this all the time , think I only stopped as was still slightly in profit if I was say down $2 I probably would of chased a little . A decimate leak that needs addressing .

Only played a pathetic 1hr yesterday but it's because the misses an son came home and dragged me out shopping the good news is tho I was playing well and running better .

1hr around 500 hands for a profit of $10 .

If only my misses would of stopped me the day before too I'd be smashing it lol.

Daily goals - play 2k hands each evening.
I have other commitments at the mo so I will settle for 1500 hands the odd day .

1 hr study

Will most likely be throwing some sng in the mix too just to keep me sane !!

After I play this week too I'm going to play some sats to the millions on party that way I might reach my goal within a week an all this will have been pointless .

What will your studying involve?

Haven't actually done any yet really struggling with time management but will get better each time . I'm trying to start at 5pm an smash out 4 hrs with either some study before to warm up or study after while hands fresh in my mind . Trouble is my wife an son seem to be struggling with the idea but were get there ..

Sorry as for content for Now will be a mix of some videos that I've found and going over my data base reviewing hands / situations ect. . Then eventually I'd like to be posting hands on here an maybe try join some sort of study group .
My studying is defo a massive leak not just fitting it in but getting some good quality in there .

Managed to get just over 2hrs in last night as something came up again . Luckily tho I was running great and playing well again .

Played 2hrs 1k hands +$10

So I'm actually really happy something came up lol

I also bubbled a $3 / $109 satellite on party which was rather annoying as he hit the river to take me out

How do you find having a wide and kid? mind me asking how old the littlen is?
I find balancing a young family and missus pretty hard as your time gets swallowed up before you can think about doing what you want or having time for your stuff.

Study wise... I struggle as mentioned so I now use a training site (check PMs)

Oh it's an absolute nightmare , trying to tell my family I'm going upstairs every night at 5pm for 4 hrs to play poker do not disturb just ent happening, not at these stakes anyhow if it was nl200 shed be locking me in there !! I think that's the trouble with poker when yr starting out at the micros you can't get any respect for your achievements I could play 20hrs at nl2 and be over the moon if I'd earnt an amount I could probably make in an hour in other jobs . So yh it's hard for now but hopefully that will make the high stakes cherry even sweeter !

Played 1300 hands yesterday for a profit of +$10 again hopefully this run good can continue for a bit !!

Going to play now before it gets too late ill do at least a 1k hands which is way short of my original goals just struggled with time at mo but I will sort it !!!

What kind of bankroll strategy does everyone use .

Was planning on a bit of a reckless one or at least till I'm at low stakes .

Planning move up at 20bi and straight back down if you drop to 17 bi

Its happened we've booked a loss

Over 1k hands played 2.5 hrs loss around $4

I'd love to say that I ran real bad but I never I sat down really confident with more tables than I normally do straight off the bat an all I was thinking was moving up in stakes , within 30mins I was down nearly $9 . I decided to close a couple of bad tables down an drop the cocky attitude slowly started to build it back up but I was definately still throwing chips away that I shouldn't of been . At the end I was at 4 perfect tables but I found myself just trying to win pots so chose to stop for the day .

Things done wrong :

No warm up

Too many table straight off

Over confident

Looking past the job in hand ( my roll was at $97 with a plan of moving up at $100 ) so all I was thinking was ill prob play for 1hr earn $3 drop 2 tables an move up .

Going forward .

1hr study before I start tonight .(Got a video I want too watch also go over some hands )

Start with 2 tables move to 4 once I warmed up .

Focus on what im doing , decided I'm not going to move up during a session so no need to focus so hard on bankroll ..

Let's do this !!!!

Hi all got about 2k hands in since last post been really really lazy and also was hungover for like 3 days simply can't handle the party anymore !

Joined a coaching webinar yesterday with bpc which was excellent hoping to get in another very soon.

Going to be updating here at least once a week from now on.

New Goals : play min 1500 hands a day at least 6 days a week .

Study 2hrs per week .

Have only played 8k hands since started this thread 2 weeks ago and according to my last goals I should of completed this I'm 4 days so defo need to get my act together .
