Actually fell asleep for about 1-3 seconds while 2 tabling earlier. So that was a real sign to stop. Ended up napping for maybe 10 mins and then got up to play csgo currently. However I am keeping an eye on the table, nothing juicy enough for me to get back in.

Guy flats my river bet with nut full house thinking I had quads when we have like HEAPS behind. He literally saved me $5k+ if not more, and i was screaming call. Throw in the usual other spots where guy gets saved by a 12% street (effectively saving him $3k) and other, this was a very annoying session. However coming back from down $10K is def a good thing.



I think this challenge has lost its rake volume purpose at this point. I'll finish out the week and see if I want to retry this challenge next month in a few days.

Took yesterday and most likely the whole day off today as well.

I do feel semi guilty not playing while the games are clearly slowly dying compared to previous couple months. But choices we make I guess.

Also got my test result back, I did not get covid19. It was just a massive flu. Unless I didn't swab up my nose far enough (there was discomfort but not far enough to hit my brain matter)

I woke up at 5am. Saw a fishy 25/50 plo lineup. Enter. They all quit me on the 69th hand. Fml

Spent the whole day clicker training the cats and playing video games.

But I did get in one hour, single tabling.

In the beginning I was basically hero calling, hero jamming against a 72% vpip guy in 6max. But he kept beating me down (somehow just has it). I quit the session at the bottom and went out for breakfast (gf ordered ubereat so I also didn't have a choice). After eating, took a small break, and resumed. Things quickly changed afterwards. $15k upswing feels great.

It's been a while since we paid $2k rake in a day. We super lost this challenge. Can't wait till it's over to reset mindset for volume (I don't volume much compared to the other grinders on PG&C) and maybe retry next month.

2nd biggest hand from yesterday, the biggest prob should be ran with a sim since I took a weird flop line which I'm not sure was GTO-approved. the one below is pretty straight forward. - just hold -

Morning session of today:



Only 1 HS table was running. Almost fell asleep playing (LITERALLY). Lost $1k on my last hand/orbit leaving (though at 40% equity). Heading out for groceries/sun/air and maybe it'll wake me up for my session later tonight maybe.

I gave up around day 16, with about 260-270 hours logged or so. I was kinda on track IIRC, but I had a really sad mentality (almost breakdown) at the table since I did 3 days of 17-20 hours in a row to push for hours. I remember vividly almost crying on the final day, despite being up around $14k+ during the challenge at the time (and that's when I was mostly playing $3/5 NL live).

So it wasn't about the money at that point. Btw I had to pay out people since I had prop bets against me (so I quit knowing that). I think it's just really ***** depressing living inside a casino (I was literally playing 1/2 to just get in hours as well when the WHOLE casino had only 2 tables running etc).

I was planning on doing it again last year, but I just kinda gave up on the idea. And as I age, I find it harder and harder to accomplish (with life responsibilities, gf).

I feel like a lot of sessions, I'm struggling to stay alive.

Haha all good. Failed to hit the target by a large margin though (to be expected from myself). All in all, no complaints.

I'm thinking of remaking another thread with a different challenge/goal or going for a second attempt at $50k rake paid.

I am guessing it's around 50k profit month after rb, pretty insane for poker in 2020, gl, and in for another thread
