Seems more like a problem than a profession for you. I already had a family and house at your age. Couldn't meet curfew? Maybe you still have a curfew because you act like a child and that's why your parents treat you that way.

yes i live in my car. i go to starbucks in the AM. do uber till like 9. then i have a personal hotspot for late night grinds.

Why are the vast majority of poker players/enthusiasts so self righteous? Because YOU had a house and family at his age then by default that's the right path for him too? Buddhists find a truer happiness than you or I in the absence of all possessions so I don't feel like they're an accurate measure of happiness. And happy is what we all strive to be, right? Offering advice is one thing but saying he's outright delusional is another. I guess it's delusional to pursue your dreams and block out negativity along the way.

Watch "The Pursuit Of Happyness" OP if you haven't already there's a lot of lessons to be learned from those who had similar struggles along the way. IMO you're not putting in enough work to achieve your goals but I think deep down you know this. That being said, I admire your unwillingness to give up on your dreams. Contrary to what others are saying, now is arguably the only time you'll have to make this work so don't waste it. All the best.
