Back to young thing's home game. 5/5 starts late tonight not sure why, so I went to young thing's game instead.

I sit there for the past half an hour folding cards, i even folded the hole cards where im the bb away cos I thought someone raised in MP. But nothing hit and I'm holding garbage so.

Nothing exciting happen today. I tried to steal the blinds and limpers money by raising in CO with 67s to 20$ and the bb(reg)(let's call him sumo) called to give me action.

I opened in the CO and although my range is pretty tight overall, but I decided to check it back instead of cbetting.

Then there's another hand, I had JJp in MP.

UTG open raised to 12 with 500$ stack in a 8 handed game.

UTG+1 and MP called, hero in MP+1 raised all in to 120$

Overall I'm satisfied with my decisions at the table and i took note of the time so that I will not autopilot. Planned to finish a bottle of water every hour so that i have excuse to go to the toilet, which will lead me to doing some walking instead of sitting for prolong period of time.

I also do not feel much anxiety today which is a good thing.

I messaged my friend to tell him about this hand and he told me tomorrow will be a better day. It really gives me hope. Like, today you might be running bad, but it doesn't mean that you will definitely be running bad tomorrow

With this in mind and heart I'll get again tomorrow.

Downed another 200$. Made some mistakes due to lack of focus cos I forgot to have lunch.

I opened up my opening range slightly in the LP.

Opened in CO Q9o after limpers in EP and MP.

I did a little victory dance as X-man on my direct left gave me a little cheer and Boa announced to the table about how happy i was. Estate and Sumo was there too. The entire table was smiling and surprised cos hero opened with Q9o. Then i heard someone saying, "wow two outers hit the TURN!"

The table was playing "Flop Bet" as a side game

I didn't join in although several people took turns to ask me to join them

In another hand, i raised the limpers up to 15$ OTB with 74s and limpers and blinds called to support

I realised I have the "nuts" and proceeded to announcing a raise. That was when i realised i dont have the "nuts" anymore. And that raise is a terrible mistake. I could have folded there if i took note .. but since I already announced raise there is no way I can take back my words, i then said, min raise. Dealer announced, 50$ to call. I threw the chips out there regretting it. Cigg called and threw the cards onto the table hard. It was Ks7s

A third hand which I'm not sure if I could have folded OTR or not but since it was against cigg, i made the call. I was kind of on autopilot mode.

Not sure about the call though V sometimes am overly aggressive with air. Now that I think about it, it might be a ok~ call since V might have hands such as QJ, 98, weaker TX, sometimes mid or bottom pairs. Hands which he would try to discard by betting with them

I have TT IP, I raised it to 15$ against 2 limpers in a 10 handed game, including Jerry on my direct right.
Then three players called 15$

Jerry limp raised to 200$ after asking me how much do I have left. I folded the TTp(what?) I jave about 100$+ left. Below 140$ i think. He smiled and told me he wanted to try me out and see if I have AQ and would jam it in with it or not and he showned me K7s. I'm on the butt.

I was almost 8, I have a nagging feeling that I would go busto if I don't leave asap. But I already planned on putting in more hours cos I cashed out after only one hour on tuesday(bustoed)

In the next orbit, I held AcKc and i raised to 15$

Bunny 2 seats away raised to 45$, and it folded back to me. I got it all in

Missed flop turn and river. I cashed out and walked to the bakery for a chocolate rice donut. Lol. The money mean alot to me but the hours i put in mean even more to me. I sure was upset that i bricked all the way in the last hand but I am glad that I managed to put in hours. But, the next time it's better to just cash out and go grab some food instead

As I took note of how some regs play, I realised what they are doing which is how i should be playing(and Abit more) and then exploitatively play comes in after that, but I didn't do as i should because I wanted to play a lower variance game and also because there is no lack of callers even if I folded for the past 2 hours.

If I want to play better against regs, i have to actively exploit their leaks instead of taking a passive line such as, "oh you raised me? I should fold." line. And also I have to be smarter about my aggressive because some regs do not bluff enough times while some regs bluff quite a bit and am terrible regs etc

My friend accompanied me to the game today and treated me to some Japanese steamboat today cos he won the lottery of 40$! Thanks for the food

He went to the 5/5 game with me and I got into some childish arguements with Boa. Lol.

He was like, "you are escaping the blinds every orbit!"
I'm like, hell no! How do you get away from escaping the blinds every orbit? Then he was likez this guy is easily exploitable. I raised to 15$. He 3betted to 45$. I 4betted to 150$. He flats. I'm ready to get it in. I started this hand with about 600$.

He betted and took the pot down and mucked his cards faced up. K6o lol. And then he announced to everyone that he exploited us. Glad for you, Boa. Hope you exploit me more often. I had AKo. Naturally, I'm checking back with my entire 4betting range in mind.

Mr. Boa then went on to shoot his mouth off with all kinds of questions and statements against hero. I feel that he made those comments because my friend, is our mutual friend, and he feels that he's a very good player for finding my "leaks". He even told our friend that I'm easily exploited. Boa's on my direct left, and our mutual friend is on my direct right.

I know that I'm doing right for the most part, and that's all that matters. Love the grind. Shed the ego.
