the first to this is a database analysis with Mpethy on Tuesday. After that it's hopefully all gonna be about session review and note taking. Run good? meh used my share of it already so bring the downswings where i only win 1ptbb/100. that's what i want to achieve.
Official Goal 3ptbb+/100 by the end of the summer.
15k hands a week or more if big geek session going.

well it's only the free session with mpethy but i'll make sure to let you know about it and the benefit i took out of it.

just had the database analysis with mpethy and whaaaaaa the guy is good. he's spotting your style very quickly and definitely know what he's doing. he was able to tell what was wrong and pretty much how to solve all this. i definitely recommend this to any one interested. keep in mind it was the free one hour session, so i don't even dare imagine what he can do if you spend more time with him.
cliff notes of the analysis: use position more postflop, bring more hands to showdown when they do have some SD value, adjusting ranges for 3bet from the blinds.
hopefully this will help me crush 10nl. the first session right after the analysis was absolutely terrible bringing me all the way to 10BIunder EV (i was already quite low but sure it got worse). i'm gonna spend some time thinking about my game, reviewing some hands, and hit the table again next week or something.

The database analysis sounds very good and I'll probably try it once I get some more hands to my database at my current limit, I've heard many people recommending it.

Alright so here is the situation.
i played my first session after Mpethy analysis (yes much earlier than expected but hey you're a lover of the game or you;re not)
and the results were here. i change my Cbetting paterns. ie i polarised my range to total air and value hand. the aim is to try to use position on steals to bring half decent hand to showdown. a whole new exercise of calling turn bet and changing my usual lines that were way too aggro.
also the 3bet section has been revamp especially fron the big blind. no more 3betting with junk just because "he's on a steal". i need more reads to get this done properly but i got a good idea of what i need to do here now at least.
so far so good a bit of fancy play lead to a stack being dumped to a full house with the nut flush. and i swear to god it won't happen again.
a bit of work to do with aces also. i basically need to be a wuss with them as i got it in way too often and way too light against some aggression from villain.
final line is leading is good, calling might be if you induced it, if they go crazy get out of here!!!!!!!
will start tracking my winrates from now on.
