After an annoying downswing last year and some tilt issues i started playing PLO again last month. The break before i used to set up some things to start grinding again. I renovated my tiny cottage, i bought a standdesk, i put in some time in studying and reseted my mind.
The last month wasn`t that bad, but it was far away from playing good. One reason for that was the ec of football for sure. Watching football, drinking beer and playing poker doesn`t really work for me. But now football is over and now i will focus on PLO as long as i have a bankroll.
OK. What is the challenge now? I want to make 3K per month playing PLO (including rakeback).
This should be possible, but given my tilt/addiction issues this is a challenge. I am playing PLO25 to PLO600. Playing higher than PLO100 is really dumb and here is where my challenge starts: Don`t play limits too high and espacially not with deep stacks. Recognizing maniacs, double up a short stack and leave is ok. But dooooon`t continue playing deep PLO400 and above.
By the way: I am doing this for myself. So if someone reads this: please don`t get pissed if this thread is a but confusing or not a nice read. This threads purpose is only to help me not to tilt and play some reasonable poker.
Today i have done my "homework". I have eaten well, i have worked out and now i go to the sauna. After that i will start playing some PLO.
Goals for tonight:
- max 4 tabling
- take a break every hour for stretching
- don`t google anything or watch anything while playing
- if music: only chill out or lounge. Never ever party house or what ever...
