Not that obvious but Iīm calling, especially if I have some stats in how aggressive and/or fishy villain is. You beat a few 2p combos, and his bluffs, so vs this sizing I think you should call.

I was playing with a HUD in the session and if I remember correctly I had ~40 hands on villain and it was 30 VPIP 19 PFR and 0 3B. No notes, but I did notice that villain wasn't 100bb effective.

I guess villain could have all the sets, 2 pairs, straights and the flush otr. However, most of the hands would probably play differently and raise on previous streets except maybe flushes and AQ. Villain has a bunch of flush combos all AXcc, some Kxcc and probably some JxCC.

What bluffs does villain have though? Any BDFD that missed (vs the size that I used?)?

I looked at it and plugged in a range that I think might be reasonable:

AcKc,AcJc,AcTc,Ac8c,Ac7c,Ac5c,Ac4c,Ac3c,Ac2c,KcJc, KcTc,Kc8c,8c7c,Tc7c,JcTc,AhQh,AhQd,AhQs,AcQh,AcQs, AcQd,AsQh,AsQd,AsQs

I might/should fold out some of the FD ott which would make my equity go up, but 66 have 37% equity vs that range, so it's seems like it's a obvious EV+ call.

Spoiler:
Villain had ATs, so got no clue if villain used the size as a block bet, value bet or bluffed. The interesting thing is that I would most likely fold AK,AJ etc without thinking much about it.. (#I'm a nit)

Rough start on the NL16 shot... Back to NL10.

And it continued. Think this might be one of the 'worst' days that I've experienced. Almost back to NL5. Bankroll is just over $200. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my game. Punted of 2-3 stacks trying to bluff the nuts.

Gotta keep trying though right?

Last week was not a fun one and I did not move down quickly enough to slow down the downfall of my bankroll. I showed my arrogant side again and basically refused to move down from NL10 which in hindsight I should've done when I posted the last time or when I had 20 stacks for the limit.

I mean I did at least start to go up in EV and ended roughly -$50 instead of -$80 (since the last post), but the end result was still a -$170 and leaving me with a bankroll of ~$140, so I'm going back to NL5Z again.

Didn't play well at all this week and fell into a lot of passivity, so going to try to crank up the aggressiveness for this week.

Obviously, this is nothing compared to what I've seen on this forum so it's just back to the grind.

Certainly true at the lowest stakes.

As a general rule, I agree you should fold more, but I don’t follow this as a general rule, at least playing normal (non-zoom) tables. There is a decent amount of fish with very aggro river tendencies that consistently overbluff in an atrocious way, and you’d be burning money by not bluffcatching vs them.

Short weekly update:

Still going down but at a slower rate.
Volume is on the lower side.

Going to be low until end of month.

Cheers

This is very true, but it's just the matter of identifying them that I feel is a little bit hard. The pool is a mixture of mainly nits/tags and then you have the occasional recs that tend to 'just have fun' and I find it kinda hard to 'switch' mode.

Wow pls tell me that you had fun at least

Brings me some memories of my beginnings playing real money. Btw, my adventures happened while sober I won big at play money (nl200 and nl1k), like 10s of millions, deposited 600 and went straight to the nl200 tables. Bc how could I reach millions of real dollars playing microstakes? You can guess what happened a few hours later.

Yeah I had fun, but made some questionable plays... :P

Today was a little bit more rough than yesterday. Felt like I was getting C4B every second hand which was really strange. The mental part was not on game and I should've stopped around 3,5K hands since I was getting jaded, but no.

Better luck tomorrow!

BR is at $67

Cheers

Maybe the pool got a few more aggro regs than usual, and you were hitting either the top of their ranges or their 4b bluff ranges often enough. Just variance, donīt let it affect your game and your mindset, and donīt make large or even medium+ deviations. If the pool is really bad, stop and come back later.

Honestly don't know and I haven't looked at the spots afterwards, but there was mostly spots where I 3bet in BTNvsCO/MP and one of the blinds came over the top or I 3B in SB vs BTN and BB came over the top.

Usually the pool are quite nitty in these spots, but they might/should open up a little bit more with their 4B range. I did however witness (I usually just fast fold) a pot today where I open BTN, get 3B from SB and 4B from BB.

SB is quite short with around 60BB and BB is covering and they're both unknowns with 1 or 2 hands each. I cold call the 4bet with AKo (should probably just rip it in that spot.. but whatever) and SB decides to 5B and BB CC... At that point I decided to just ****ing fold...

Flop comes 6Jxfd > SB ships the rest and BB calls. SB has AJo and BB 66. ? Wtf. So guess ranges can be a lot wider than my perception...

Anyway, play a little bit more yesterday and small volume today. Played good, but I've been really tired today. BR is on: $82
