Not going to spend a ton of time on this OP as most ppl know at least a bit about me and other than poker and health/fitness related topics, not really going to be posting much ITT I don't think.

For those who don't know me, read my previous pg&c threads , not interested in retelling any background info nor reliving much of the past 2 yrs; I solely want to focus on the future after taking a good, hard look at myself after becoming ill last month. In short, I had a **** 2 years tainted by run bad, drug abuse and an unhealthy lifestyle, but have been doing well the past few months in almost areas and constantly improving. I also cleared MU from ~200k high at the end of this year when I got my 19.2k bonus for achieving 2mil VPPs in 2014, so I have a chance to make 2015 really count!

Anybody who read my last pg&c thread will know that when spin&go's were released, along with a lot of other negative news from the Amaya group, I went into a mini downward spiral for ~15 days. Luckily, I was able to quickly transition to a new main grind, MTTs with 9s/18s mixed in. I started off my MTT 'career' hot, having a bunch of nice scores in an about 2 month period of time/ ~1750 game sample at ~$75 abi including...
-$14.9k 1st Hot 75
-$12.5k 2nd WPN Major
-$10.3k 4way chop Big 162
-$10.1k 4th Ipoker Major
-$7.3k 1st Big 75
-$4.6k 6th Big 55
-3 109 turbo wins, multiple 2nd-3rds, 1 215 turbo win with multiple 3rd-4ths
-Lot of other wins including B2B wins 55 10k, 1st ipoker 50euro^3, 1st 109^4, 1st last ever 55 2x turbo, 1st 30^3, 1st 8r and probs missing some smaller ones

Found the level of play in mid-hsmtts to be super lol compared to the majority of volume I've put in the past few years playing in sick lineups of HS 6m hypers and turbos. Also think my skillset/coaching I've received is pretty great for punishing weaker regs early, mid and endgame, which makes up the majority of MTT regs. Obviously ran hot to end the year, but think 2015 should be a good one!

Couple graphs from my Oct-Dec grind

PS MTTs $0-215, missing ton of profit obv with 2 5fig scores in small sample on non PS sites

PS turbo SNGs

And overall 2014 graphs, ran 6figs under EV at SNGs for 2nd straight yr

$109s+ pre rb

<$101 pre rb

2015 Plan

Life:

I think 2015 will be the strongest year I have in terms of combining grinding really hard with living a much healthier lifestyle than I ever have in my adult life. I did okayish in 2014 in terms of weight loss, def lost noticeable weight as almost anyone I don't see regularly has commented on it. I have gained a bit back since quitting the adderall and xanax, and especially being home over the holidays eating lots of mamas cooking (). Once 2015 starts, though, I'm all business. Feeling ****ty most of the past month, after dealing with tapering off of and withdrawing from the drugs I was taking has really made me want to make some changes in my life.

I will most likely be doing a weight loss prop bet with Ruse when he returns to Mexico sometime in mid Jan 2015 and that will be great motivation to get myself into a great routine that I enjoy and that is manageable. Having a decent gym right inside my complex will make this a lot easier as well, won't have to try to find extra motivation to drive to a gym or figure out alternative exercise methods but instead can just go down there and get it done! Fwiw when I was at physician first time I was logged in at 6 ft 2 and 288 pounds so still ton of work to be done ldo. Think my high was something around 325

Poker:

In short, this is my day to day plan and I think this is the only way that this type of grind makes sense (HSMTTer hours while maintaining SNE), so I really don't see this changing unless PS adds a Big $215 in the timeslot that I have suggested and numerous regs have agreed with (same time as late 30^3, 1 hr 15 mins after 265ko and 30 mins before the 109rebuy), in which case I might move my grind slot forward a bit.

-Play 6 days a week taking Tuesday off to grocery shop, run errands, get a massage, and do anything else that needs to be done. Maybe fire 1k and a few other birds on Tues in that timeslot if I want to play
-Start day around 8:30am with wakeup, stretch/super light exercise, shower, bfast, study couple spots
-Late reg 9:55am 109rebuy, Big 22, 55 TKO and start my day
-$60-100 9s/18s and mtts across all sites, cut 9mans around Big 55 until post peak unless I decide to skip some of the lower bi mtts and just want to focus on SNGs that day
-Load reg speeds through the Nightly 55 (6:30pm) and then finish up for the night with 9s/18s/remaining mtts/zoom cash
-Workout/cool down, shower, dinner, relax and bed by about 1am

Really think that grind schedule will work for me, especially as I'm more motivated than ever to grind my ass off with the uncertainty of SNE in future years along with the fact that MTTs are my true passion and I'm so tired of being broke.

Likely will have freerolls centered around eating well, working out, avoiding partying and the like. Will figure out the first round of those when I first get back to Mexico I would assume.

Going to just stop there for the OP, looking forward to crushing 2015 and having a ton of cool MTT sweats. Hope everyone has a great year, glgl out there!

Been enjoying time home with my family and honestly feel pretty rejuvinated after another tough go of it in 2014. I have an appointment on Monday with my Mom's physician to get test results back. I have had full blood tests, breathing tests, Xrays on my chest, an ultrasound and an upper GI to try to figure out my stomach problems. It seems likely based off the information I've gotten doctors to give me as I've taken tests that I have reflux built up in my system (based on what upper gi doc saw as he was running the test) and I could end up having to take something for acid reflux for the rest of my life. Might not be that severe and with proper diet, exercise/losing weight, watching my portion sizes in one sitting, avoiding 'trigger' foods and not eating late at night I'll be able to be just fine, but I'll find out on Monday .

In other medical related news, I found out that the 2 cataracts in my eyes have gotten much worse and I'm already eligible for surgery and will be taking off ~1.5-2 months late 2015/beginning of 2016 to have that done. Pretty annoying but not much I can do about that. Going to start wearing glasses most of the time except when I'm out and about in public, will be first time I've worn glasses really ever since switching over to contacts in 6th grade. Just going to say now thank f christ my parents have good health insurance and I'm still covered by them until I'm 26 .

Other than running around to a million doctor appts, I've mostly been relaxing around the house and introducing my Mom and Dad to a couple TV shows they've never seen, like The Shield and American Horror Story. They are loving the shield and we've been ripping through ep's really fast which is awesome because that might be my favorite show of all time and I could watch and rewatch it every day.

I did get to go hangout with my awesome friend Lori and her BF, she being one of two people I keep in contact with regularly from back home. We used to skype call nearly every day but now sometimes go weeks without talking, but anytime I talk to her or see her we pick up right where we left off and that's the mark of a true, lifelong friendship imo. I'm hoping tomorrow I get to hangout with my buddy GB, who is the guy who has come to visit me 2/3 years in Mexico, but if not, we'll probably certainly go somewhere for NFL on Sunday.

Other than that, just been doing a bit of study, bit of pineapple OFC and then ofc Christmas today with the family. My mom made an awesome spread of turkey (24.5 lb mfer, such a monster bird), old fashioned stuffing which she was taught by her mom growing up on the farm, candied yams (sweet potatoes with marshmallows for those who don't know), mashed potatoes, zucchini parmesan, deviled eggs, and dinner rolls made from scratch. There was also food before the main course + dessert lol #NoWonderImFat

Dat turkey

Alright gonna go check out the Kindle Fire I got for Christmas and then read and go to sleep. Hope everyone is having a good holiday season both on and off the felts, will be back with an update of how my tests came back and when I'm returning to Mexico hopefully Monday night! Glgl all

Rarely get a pic in with my parents these days
