A bit of background about me, I played poker recreationally with no real studying of the game from the age of 18, am now 22 about to turn 23. I study Chinese so I spent my last academic year out there, I played virtually no poker that year. I got back and went on a bit of a heater online in mtts and played a few live local low stakes tournaments as well and cashed in 3/5. I invested some of my winnings online playing micro stakes cash, ran badly and blew the bankroll and got a bit scared then paid off my rent till March with the money I didn't put into poker.
I now want to focus on fast fold micro stakes poker and go from 30 dollars to $3000 so I can grind the local 1-1 tables live. I live in Manchester in the UK.
I will be playing on 888 where 1BI for 2nl is $1, I will take a shot at 20 BIs and drop down if I hit 18. I may play the occasional MTT.
As I'm in my final year of Uni I will only be able to play 1.5 hours a day weekdays and 3 hours max on weekend days. I have a thesis to write after all.
ha probably noone cares but I'll keep this updated to keep me motivated. Switched to a different site 888s $1 buy in for 2nl is shi1T. It's on MPN which is non hud compatible as far as I can tell which makes things fun.
Deposited 20 euro on weds and the bankroll is now at 41, will be getting some bonuses soon and am on a cash leaderboard too so it's looking good on the new site, much softer than 888. Hopefully be able to take a shot at 4nl before Christmas.
