Played poker a bit in the past but didn't really get into it until late last year. Started lurking 2p2 and was inspired by threads from Shipnickle, chipsNcrisps, MMAsherdog and others. Looking to become a better player and hopefully climb the stakes in the process.

Short-term goals:
• Hit $250 bankroll and shot 5z ($200 currently)
• Complete Exclusive Poker Challenge
• Take time to really think through tough turn/river spots

Long-term goals:
• Play at least 20hrs / week
• Study at least 5hrs / week
• Join a CFP and/or study group

Life goals:
• Start going back to the gym ASAP
• Eat healthier
• Improve quality of sleep
• Read more non-fiction books
• Learn 1 new language this year

Please don't join a CFP. It isn't worth if for a low stakes player. You are going to be given a massive content library and the occasional group study session. You can find good content free online, and get the same group/community growth experience in any number of free discordsa

Formatted my PC and forgot to back up my database. It's not the first time I've done this so I decided to email Stars and ask for all my hand histories. I'm honestly quite disappointed with the results. Looking back, I've been playing too many tables and autopiloting without really thinking about what I'm doing. I've also made many spewy plays and justified them using logic such as "well a solver would bluff here at some frequency" or "I have really good blockers so I should bluffcatch this river shove". In reality, I just need to keep it simple and stay disciplined. Going forward, I'll play at most 3 zoom tables at a time and will focus on making the most +EV decision in every spot.

This is why I can't even play this game today. Hundreds of thousands of hands for $50? lol

You could do ANYTHING with your time including masturbate on camera and make a ton of money in that amount of time. Why you guys grind for pennies like this today is beyond me and so many other people. I mean, how much can you absolutely love poker that you're willing to put that much time in for free?

This is why today's games are all AA and top set, NFD, etc. Guys will sit there for fifteen hours a day to make a buck.
