About to fire up some tables and play. I'll aim for 300+ hands tonight since I'm not really motivated.

Broke even after 300 hands. Was down early again got it back, won, lost it back, won again... etc. Kind of a roller coaster.

Was getting somewhat annoyed at a few players for getting lucky on me but I have to remember that's a good thing because it keeps them playing. Variance is my friend even if I want to beat it over the head with a broomstick.

Tried to go to sleep but kept dreaming of moving up to 50NL. Hopped on to play and managed to donk off a couple buy-ins. He haw!

A friend I met at the tables pointed out I'm running bellow EV. I don't feel that unlucky but I guess it's true. Good to know.

Played 196 hands. Lost 8 cents. No point posting the graph. About to eat dinner then hop back on the tables. A lot more motivated to play today than yesterday. I think I just needed a break.

Day 6:

Trying 4-6 tables. Going to play 500+ hands already played about 200 so it shouldn't be hard to hit the rest of them.

I tried 6 tables for a while but it was really laggy. I'll have to play only 2-4 from now on. Maybe someday I'll get a decent computer this one is over six years old.

Played 500+ hands though so that's good.



I probably have another 300+ hands in me tonight.

Yep another 300+ hands went well. One of my better sessions. Was running above EV got lucky in a few spots.

Lost a flip of AK vs QQ to a friend. Enjoy that 80 cents you short-stacking dolphin sniper!

Played another 500+ hands and I'm done for the night.

Most memorable hand was when I was dealt 99. I opened for 2.5x got one caller. Flop came 7 4 6 two spades. I c-bet and got raised pretty large. I tanked for about 12 seconds and made the call. Turn was a 6. I checked, he checked back. River was BINK 9h. I bet 70c he raised, I shoved... and he had 66 for quads. LOL I couldn't help but laugh at that. That's the only hand that would make sense raising besides maybe a straight that got there. I was thinking he had quads but my hand was just too good.

After being down a while I managed to ink out a small win. Was also in a call with a poker buddy of mine who wanted to play me at the tables then discuss the hands afterwards. That was interesting. I got him in one hand and he pretty much ran me over after that. Fun stuff.

Played when I just woke up. Overplayed AK twice and called down light with ace high.

If I were you I would structure when I play with a little more attention. Seems to me you play when not in the right mindset. It's a margin game.

Yeah jumping right in to it first thing in the morning isn't a good idea.

Day 7:

Goals: Play 500+ hands on 4-tables. Read a little Mental Game.

Played for about an hour kept disconnecting. Pretty uneventful session. Got JJ against a fish and he happened to have KK that time. I saw him get it in with A3 vs JJ previously. It sucks he was at the top of his range but what can you do? I thought it was a good spot to get in stacks.

Going to take a break read some Mental Game and then get back to the tables to play 300+ hands.

Put in 300 hands.

Thought everything was going good until I got dealt KK. Three bet to 18c got a caller. Flop came Q 3 9. Bet half pot, got called. Turn 9. Bet three fourths pot, got a caller. River Q. I checked it. He shoved for 94 cents I called. He had AQ. Lost a stack.

Then towards the end of the session I overplayed 66. I opened to 6c got three bet called. Flop came K 7 4. I ended up shoving the turn because I saw this player three bet A4 off suit and didn't think he had a king. He bet pretty big on the turn too so I should have known he wasn't folding.

Just realized I went from "newbie" to "enthusiast" after 50 posts. That's pretty cool.

I can't stand losing. Even $4. I really want to jump in to the $1/$2 limit game right now but I'm going to stay disciplined.

I came up with a few mantras I should follow.

Ace high - Let it fly! (fold)
No set? No bet!

Played another session with a friend and bluffed him off kings! That's great.. what's not great is losing three buy-ins on tilt after my set of T's got cracked by QT on a A Q T board... Q on river.

I hero call way too much with medium pocket pairs. Definitely didn't follow my "no set, no bet!" mantra I literally JUST came up with. Maybe I need to practice it in the mirror a few times. Would have saved me $4...

I jumped in to $15/$30 limit with my whole roll. Got a walk for $7.50 then stole the big blind with AK hearts for $15. Won $22.50 and got out of there. That was scary I don't know why I did that. Makes up for the 2NL losses though. Pretty stupid if you ask me but I'm happy to have the 5 extra buy-ins.

I'm going to my mom's for burgers tomorrow so I'm taking the day off. Might play when I get back not sure it'll depend how I feel after my bike ride.

Went back in there and won $88. Actually played a pot this time. Got lucky on the river when my two pair counterfitted his two pair.

Agreed just play some 5/10nl or some small mtt if it makes you feel better.

Dinner got canceled so I'm going to play today.

Table goals play 1000 hands. Read a little Mental Game.

Yeah definitely not worth the risk of my whole roll for $110. Even though that is a nice win for me.
