Again happy with how I played the hand...being BvB I put max pressure on all his PP and I sometimes get called by worse with a spade
You raped this hand. The K is bad for you, since his range includes a ton of AK, KQ and the like. You will only get him to fold hands you only beat and get snap called by AK/KQ etc when you spass jam over his turn cbet. The other hands you posted here are also terrible. You're not beating NL2.

Mostly agree. Thanks for taking the time to look over the hands and share your thoughts!

Not happy with my game and ... god I hate 2NL.

So, since the last update:

and overall since the start of the challange:

I found playing 2NL Zoom incredibly frustrating. I have been playing focused, 2 tables paying serious attention, analyzing hands...and the results suck. I was going for maximum learning with minimum investment but my conclusion so far is that there isn't much learning that can happen at 2NL. post flop play is insane...people do not have a fold button and the amount of plays that make no sense whatsoever is incredible. It gets one to the point where you start contemplating weather the game is rigged or something.

I'll change my strategy a bit. I initially planned to take 10BI shots with a larger and larger BR (20BI for 5NL, 25 for 10NL, etc.) but now I just want to get the f**ck out of the micros so I will be taking 2BI shots when I have 10BI for the limit I want to move up to.

Already played a bit at 5NL last night. I'll keep at it and be very disciplined about the 2BI shot limit.

Don't mean to be mashing down on you now, but your graph at NL2 does not look like a winning player. You should be able to easily beat NL2 for at least 5BB/100, and even 7-10BB is probably easily achievable.

Some more input from the hands on this page (EDIT: last page):

KK hand: Don't bet the turn. You have a hand with decent showdown value. Check turn and try to showdown your hand or bluff catch the river. Raising the river is just spew.

JQdd hand: I would probably just fold this pre, as I don't think people 3b light enough at NL2. Not a major mistake though, calling is certainly fine. Bet flop when checked to is fine. Over betting turn with your combo draw is not good, it screams weakness and/or confusion, i.e. quite easy to put you on some draw that you don't know what to do with. Continue betting turn for 1/2-2/3 of pot is standard, trying to make him fold KK/QQ and stuff like that. If he calls turn as well, I'm probably shutting down OTR, if I don't spike my draw.

From looking at graphs it seems you are either running like total ass or being hyper aggro in the wrong spots.

Thanks again for your thoughts. I find your analysis sound.

Clearly these graphs do not reflect a winning 2NL player.

Why are you taking a shot at 10nl with 10 buy ins?

Re: 2NL to 200NL. Make money playing poker

you really should have a higher winrate at NL2 before moving up to NL5 especially with under 30 buyins. From what I've seen from your posted hands you are playing way too loose at the limit. people dont fold at NL2, if they reraise they always have a hand. I beat nl2 at 14bb/100 over 30k hands or so from just playing very basic poker. value bet your made hands and fold the rest.
