Won a load of buy ins playing on my phone - 6 max 5nl..... I like it but I don't think I could multi table 6 max as my strategy is very different with no hud. BR sitting at 187 and change - looking forward to moving to 10nl hopefully soon.
So I was on run bad mode, 10% bad beats, 90% tilt, but was able to snap out of it without too much damage to my BR (thank goodness I have restrictions on my account lol)!!
Today I got to increase my restriction to 10NL, so you know what that means guys!! Yep! Taking shots at 10NL starting tomorrow for 3 buy ins... maybe 4!
Man, it felt good doing that. I was like, "wow, I'm moving to 10NL without chasing losses!? What on earth is going on?! Who am I, and what have I done with Zzoop!?"
BR:
Here's the hand that put me over the 200 mark:
(When semi-bluffing pays off)
Haven't had a chance yet to play 10NL seeing as I'm still restricted... hopefully it gets lifted in an hour or two?
So I started the grind in 5NL today.. lol... that went bad... dropped 4 buy ins!!
BR lowest point hit 178... my dreams of moving to 10NL today were fast disappearing... but... I continued the grind and made back all my losses plus an additional 3 bucks....
It was a decent enough session. Although I hit a bad beat just after my 100th hand.... some donk pushed his stack in with Jack Schitt and hit turn and river straight - lol, runner runner straight.... you can see it in the graph below:
But I just grinded and grinded and stacked someone when I had a set and they got it all in with a flush draw... which didn't hit.
It was weird playing 10NL this time around. I felt quite nervous strangely enough. I don't know, it was a strange feeling. But my nerves soon settled because I realised that actually, there's A LOT of bad players at 10NL, they're typically people I've seen in 2NL and 5NL chasing their losses and getting even deeper in the hole at 10NL... ahhhh.. that used to be me too.
I'm a recovering tilter. A bit like a recovering alcoholic except damage is done to my bankroll as opposed to my liver. I just have to not tilt, one day at a time.
Anyway.
BR sitting at 214 and change. I'll probably only feel safe at 10NL when the BR hits 300.
I know, I know, it's scummy.... but try it out yourself if you get fed up playing aces OOP. Turns out, this is +EV than playing them normally from UTG.
Only put in 700 hands today with $3 profit. I had some issues with my HUD with the new PS client. So that ate into a bit of my time getting it fixed.
Shout out to Mrs Zzoop btw.
More updates to follow, 10NL seems to be going so-so. My transition from 2NL to 5NL -- default villain attributes were, "OMG I learned how to 3BET!! 3BET 3BET 3BET!" -- In 10NL this phenomenon is ever worse. People are 3betting ALL. THE. TIME.
Which is great, because 4betting light is immediately profitable against the right player. But these guys don't seem to realise other players have HUDs and see can their 3bet statistic through the roof... Lol...
Hey guys - my last 4 sessions have been 10nl only. I've only managed to get 4k hands in this time. I will hopefully be ably to put in 2k hands today though. Will keep u guys posted!

In my 3rd "shot" at 10NL -- hopefully I can adapt to the new players and stay there without having to drop to 5NL.
The difficult regs are giving me a hard time - they tend to play tricky. In the below hand I wasn't sure if it was a fold or not, I have seen him call a 3bet with a lower PP before.
Is my line below OK against a standard TAG. His WTSD% was 17. I didnt really like my calls, felt it was a bit passive, but against this particular player I was unsure:
Preflop: Hero is CO with T J
UTG+1 raises to $0.20, UTG+2 calls $0.20, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.20, 2 folds, BB calls $0.10

I dont like your sizing, you raised a 3Bb raise to 7bb, he will call with any two cards he was raising with because you are giving him odds, and there are a lot of players ahead that might call that tiny raise putting you in a tough spot, I would probably fold the turn as well.
