My sn is Shomsie, a few of you may recognise me from twitch chat (where all the crushers reside) Kappa.

I decided to start a PGC and i'm hoping it helps motivate me to put in more volume and push myself to improve.


Background:

My poker journey started around the beginning of 2016 donking off stacks at 2nl, since then I've played zoom on and off but making withdrawals really stunted any progress. So earlier this year i promised to myself that i wouldn't make anymore withdrawals until i'm out of the micros, but life had other plans when my old laptop died on me. After spending most of my br on a new PC im back here at 2nl to give it another shot.


Goals:

- play a minimum of 30k hands/month

- study 3 hours/week

- purchase snowie or pio

- reach 100nl

Giving reg tables a try, i just think it'll be a smoother ride through the stakes

just play ggpoker, why would you play stars when 5 zoom is the same as 100 zoom

I think if you bluff 66 youll be overbluffing.

At these stake, just give up when you dont hit your set... you have some Q + pair, 99 and fd and thats a lot of bluff already...

I don´t understand villain´s line here, but on your shoes I´m folding 66 preflop and flatting a 3b ip with 88-QQ, AQs-ATs, KQs and AKo. Keep a tighter range and these spots will be easier.

Yeah, most 5nl regs dont check strong hands here so i thought villain would have enough one pair call call folds to make it profitable

He blocks 2 combos of AQs and he should know you won´t overplay your sets here, so I don´t understand why did he play those AAs so passively.

Spent a few hours in the lab the last 2 days, working on simplifying snowie preflop ranges. I got a short session in today and it went pretty well
I'll probably take a 10nl shot tomorrow.

Also working a lot with Snowie here, feel what helps my game the most is practicing in his training mode, trying not to make any mistakes but also thinking what I would do differently vs some real villains. Unfortunately I´m being lazy the last few days, hopefully will get back on track. Simplified its SB range, but for the other positions I´m following exactly what it suggests (full ring).

Yeah, i used the free trial a while back. It was fun playing vs it, also feel like a boss when snowie calls you an expert lol

Right now i'm referring to the preflopadvisor to build my ranges, there's so many different frequencies for each position. Way too complex.
