Yup, I played in a super-juicy 5/10 at Wynn last night. I was playing 2/5 at quite a tough table, running bad and stuck around $1k when I heard that a new 5/10 table was opening, I looked over and two huge fish were at the table, then a whale showed up, plus one semi-fish, and just 3 competent regs, so I snap joined the table and bought-in for pretty much all of the cash I had ($2650). Mostly I was covered, although some stacks were ~$2k. Another very good reg came into the last open seat, so we were basically 4 good regs, 4 fish and me in the middle.
Typical fish hand, although I'm disappointed OTR:
UTG reg opens $40, MP1 good aggressive reg 3-bets to $110, hero has T
T
in SB and decide that we're deep enough to peel a flop here, Fish BB calls, UTG folds.
Flop $360 5
6
7
checks around.
Turn $360 T
(hi there!) and I know that BB fish always like to stab turns after the flop has checked around, so I check to her, she bets $300, good reg folds and we raise to $800, which see calls leaving around $600 behind. Before the river is even dealt she says "it's all going in anyway"
River $1960: 2
and I think given her statement she is snap calling so I get it in but she folds 33 face up...hmm maybe I should check and let her ship it in...not sure she would as I took her statement to be a "blocker bet" to stop me from betting river...?
