Update :

Called me in on the 5/10 Bellagio list , took a line Lyft ride what cost me an hour.
I arrived at the Bellagio and I was like 12 "Sebastian" on the list, ideal.
It took a while, I waited like 1.5hour to find out it was another "Sebastian"...so I went back to nr 34 on the list.
I waited , played 2.5hours and than called it a day....I'm just so ****ing tilted of the waiting lists or maybe I'm just a spoiled online player.

Anyway tons off small sessions, I ll try to play some longer ones



I think I m also pretty dehydrated , maybe it makes me more irritable.
My routine is , wake up, shot of caffeine, 20 min walk to gym, workout , 20min walk back , shower, eat , Bellagio....think those 20min are pretty taxing in the heat + I drink a ton off coffee, what is also dehydrating, but helps me with not getting bored

puke puke puke, BB was the weakest player of the table, but he was more like a passive fish. He did lost some big pots in a row vs me so I ended up calling it off. He reps very thin here and QJo is a better call than AA cuz we block Q3s J3s what he will still have in the BB.

Looking back at the hand, if i flip over my cards that quickly I will always have a strong hand....so to bluff raise on it would be kamikaze even he reps so thin, he s just never gonna spaz there.....





This weekend I ll grab some sushi, so I completed at least one off my goals.

So not going so great and the games has been ****ing amazing , think its because of the 4th of July and the Main Event.
Even I'm not that much up anymore (overall) , I'm looking to take some shots at 10/20 this weekend.


Goal to play the main event = Failed
Of what I heard is the tax law for Belgium is 30% and 50% for everything above 50k$, ofcourse there are ways to not pay the tax, but there is still an uncertainty.
I don't really care about the uncertainty, but I investors do.
So I need to take care of it for next year :-) I'm a bit sad about it, cuz its a really high EV Event. Next year I also don't need investors anymore :-)

I've been whinning about live poker a loth the last couple off day's , I miss online poker.
I hate loosing from donks and seeing them in real life


For rest I'm happy for the interesting people I met over here (prob the biggest benefit of live poker ), even my trip looks like a disaster, I will gain a loth from this.

The end of the blog: a failure

Didn't update the blog recently, took 4 off days previous week.
Played yesterday night and dropped 2.5k$ and I feld super tilted, the good thing is that I know I was and I left the game. Even 2.5k$ doesn't make my top 30 off losing days this year, I just feel frustrated in general. I had days were I went to Bellagio , saw a big waiting list and just went straight back home. I'm just so ****ing tired of waiting. If I learned one thing of this trip is that my level of patience is so bad, so much respect for all the live pro's.
I also think 2 months is just to long, I would have enjoyed it more if it was just one month.
So if I come back next year it would be just around the period when the main starts.

My roomy his girlfriends familie is staying at the house, so my house is full of Mexicans now.
Not that I hate Mexicans ( I lived there 4 months before ) , but her brother and wife has a little baby that is crying all the time. Anyway I could be just bitching, but sleep is so important guys. Small things can just irritate you because you're just not well rested.

The good part:
I met a girl over here ( one of the reasons I took 4 off days last week) and were going to LA on Friday. Will be fun just relaxing, I'll post some pictures off LA later.

The Pro's and Cons of LIVE:

Pro's live poker:
-you can pick up live tells
-you can play for higher stakes than online , what is more excitement
-you can play longer sessions ( it's really hard to play 4 tables zoom 16hours)
-you get free food , think this the the biggest benefit
-its more glamorous , its alway cool to be in a nice casino. they are just beautiful over here.
-the field is softer and you should get higher hourly's ( maybe this one is not for me )

Cons live poker:
-Trafic , waiting lists. they are the worst. If you want to know you're real hourly you should start you're session when you're entering you're car. It also has a big tilting effect on me.
-Bad smelling people next to you. it sucks
-Mistakes off dealers , cost you time
-Counting pots , being stack aware off other players. I know its a small one
-Giving tells away
-A personal one, I have really trouble in staying focused. Online I'm just making decisions after decisions ( 900h/hour) and I'm in a sort of kinda flow. Not always, but deff more than live. Decisions are coming more naturally and in live you're like card death for hours and than you're in a difficult spot. Its like my mind doesn't work .

i dont know if AMMADNAV allows me but , i play in vegas PLO for 3 weeks and all the things are true, but 2 times more.

- The field is a dream
- Some dealers are veeeeery slow, like ****yng very slow, i mean, SLOW. Casinos like Veneatian is just impossible to play PLO and RIO is just bad, every time that someone says '' pot '' take 20 seconds, no joke, and that is also a true even in casinos like ARIA, some dealers are prety bad and slow, and it's not uncommon mistakes with size of the pot, happends all the time
- After 2 weeks you just want to go home, lol

You can get really sick of Vegas quickly. For me this year I was sick of it after 4-5 days.

I would prefer to find other places to play like Florida, LA etc and even cities when they have a big poker stop like wpt in town.

Vegas is just a dump really

Bravo poker app and call ahead to get your name on the list. You have an hour to show up, usually call in and show up 30-45 mins after. You’ll get checked in and be way ahead of people that just show up and out there name on the list.

Jump in a 2/5 while waiting for 5/10 or 1/3, it’s easy to table select and jump tables in Vegas.

Solid blog overall, always interesting to hear online crushers playing live. I came from a live background but mainly play online now but do play live from time to time because as you said, fields are sofffffffft.
