26sk8er - Making it happen, its now or never

Hey folks.

Love the 2p2 community first of all, it's been a big part of my life for a long time now, and tbh probably spent too much time here, but i'm sure i have learnt alot such as how to cook a good steak or reading masque D posts of science at the wee hours of the morning, twitch poker is amazing, poker can be a lonely game, and depending on your phsyce it may or may not be lonely, many factors can influence your feel or love towards poker and these heavily include overall happiness in life, drugs, relationships, bankroll, confidence, self esteem, social life, regrets, future goals, feelings of missed opportunities.

Fortunately all those pretty hardcore factors that can have negative impacts on ones life, are not outcomes of poker play or poker results, they are the outcomes of ones' life decisions, out of the above id say "drugs" and "regret"s have been the 2 most hard things on me, followed closedly by social life and missed opportunities. Having "self esteem" and "future positivies" can be things i can focus on, and i believe if i dream withing my dream of realising the reasons behind my unhappiness, i can work to help my suceed the things i know i can succeed in.

A little background, on my poker/lifestyle, finished uni in commerce 2012 at 28, done mainly sales since then, had numerous binks of cash where its like life is a dream, not sure if it was the bannas or what but stuff felt surreal, heaters included, downswings didn't phase me except for once, most times id get a "real life job" immediately bink cause my life was happier, quit job, rinse repeat.

multiple times have i had a nice roll to get my life together become independent and move out build a roll, at 32 its time to do what i can, and become one of the best, i have spent 95% of my waking life the last 4 years thinking about poker in abstract meaninless thoughts most of them being "i love poker" "i will be the best" its time to do it.

Going from playing drunk/high to playing sober is a huge i opener to me not only in poker but in life, but its an amazing thing to me to see, i'm sure other players have realised it to but it does show how bad the affcts of certain drugs can be when playing poker. So i beleive everyone be careful on that one, sure its fun but hey the long term negatives are true.

Lets be positive though, my backer. aka " mr legend" has faith in my penny stock abilities and i aim on making 5k this month, playing pokerstars and 888/party mtts. We playing from 2.20-22 pretty much, hopefully 4 -5 days a week. Will write a following post with some goals personally.
