Started off good with the 2nd in the 50c 180man, looking at my stats i definitely suck at HU when it comes to mtts, although in general i think i am ok at HU in general and i think a lack of concentration/lack of focus/or possibly being happy with 2nd prize place money complacency is leading to my lack of ships when hu in sngs and mtts. FWIW quick shout out to MJW, CHU, WALCHY, and BATHURST BRADLEY HU MASTERS!!!!!!!

I then spun up a roll on 888 i think i had about $5 in there so technically titlte of this thread could get changed but whatevs, i played 5c/10c there pretty much felt i was crushign it and got to 55 before leaving with 15 (im glad i didn't bust it all but dissapointed in getting to that amount and dropping so much, i guess a sign that my deepstacked cash play has plenty of leaks, some personal tilt eg arguing with friends family prob fkd it up too note to self sit out next bb if **** goes down)

I don't play live much, started getting into poker playing a few live pub $20 mtts etc, after the 3rd or 4th one i shipped one for about 350 and was so excited about poker next day i went to a toy store and bought a wsop chip set in silver briefcase for like $180 (expensive lol).

From their I started going from playing play money and freerolls to starting to deposit on ftp and most of my first games were on ftp where i had some ok results (was a massive fish games were easier then though) and met some cool people in the old FTP forum (shout out to LO, richlynx, and the whole rest of the crew, one that sticks to mind is Traceysanders, gave me my first stakeback pack for 100 $1 90 man ko's or something i think). I think

After Black friday i played 888 for the first few months then got into pokerstars and since then most of my volume has been on pokerstars, with some ftp/888.

My biggest live mtt was probably a $75 mtt at easts leagues, have had my aspirations on playing anzpt sydney/melbourne/aussie millions small events but never had the money at the time. It's something that I'm definitely looking at getting into more in the future, online however, is just generally more relaxing for me to chill out have cheaper drinks and not worry about cab fares home etc.

Last night grinded again, made a few deep runs most notable was 3rd in the 2.20r 2k starting before the other 2.20r 5ks for 365, got a 2nd in a 2 180, then got 11th in 5quad 7.5k (shoved bu 9bbs called by bb A3<44). Was 1.8k ut in that and was lagging hard and had to restart multiple times f3t's and final 2 tables which was frustrating. Ended the session overall up about $50, finishing with a top 50 run in 5.40ko after AK<KK.

Happy with my play and will keep it rocking over the weekend. Taking tonight off to take out the gf for dinner, and got a hotel room booked for her bday so should be a good night). Then super pumped for Saturday and Sunday solid mtt sessions since in Australia we have a public holiday on Monday for the Queens Bday.

I wouldn't say it's easy, I got pretty lucky to start with (the first score 2nd in hot 7 i had 30% of from a $200 stakeback one time pack) and that has given me a roll to take shots at games using more aggressive brm then would be suggested, since i'm working now I'm not too worried about having to redeposit if I go busto.

I've also been withdrawing most of the money and leaving about 400-500 in for each session. The end goal is for this to be a side income and start saving some money which at my age I've been hopeless at not doing

In terms of my setup, I play on a laptop, sitting on the couch with tv/music in the background, a few beers on the table or empty pizza boxes, with a plentiful supply of nicotine. I used to use a hud, but stopped using one a couple of months ago, keeps me more focused on dynamics, I will probably eventually return to using one, but I feel i play better without one, maybe i'm using it wrong or the way i have it set up is too cluttered to many numbers tiling 12 on a 21 inch etc etc.

Taking a few days off and will be back at it soon

After finishing the hotter 22 i went to the pub for a steak aiming to go to sleep early for work the next day, ended up coming home and losing a couple hundred in a few hours, lost $60ish in one sat to manilla 260 fo or something and got ul in a 33 6m turbo i think.

I ended up missing my alarm cause the battery died so couldn't go to work, but grinded again last night, only notable scores were some runs in the 33 psko, 27 4max psko, and a 2nd and 6th i think in 3r 180s.

I'm off to work now, which is kind of weird, i'm not going in for the money, mainly something to get out, I really just want to try and grind a good monthly leaderboard score, and avoid work, since it's not that high paying and is varience based since i work in sales.

In terms of poker, the last 2 sessions i've played I have definitely not been on my A game, probably been on my C game, a mix of too many tables (gotta cap at 12), poor game selection, poor music selection, not enough weed, as well as not eating healthy enough or doing enough exercise.

I'm going to lower my avg buy in a bit, played some 15 180s tonight got close in one for 9th AQ<K10. I just need to be careful and not go busto, so I'm better off mixing in other sites if i am going to grind after work etc.

I really want top 20 in the monthly lb though, so have been playing predominantly stars, I think I've probably been playing too much poker lately cause of that, neglecting work, eating proper meals, gf etc.

Getting a taxi to work cause i'm a lazy bastard, and its undecided whether taxi will go to my work or the casino yet....
