I think I'm just gona quit zoom. The variance is just a complete and utter joke. Honestly the more I think about it the more I ask my self why the fk does anyone play zoom? Yeah you get more volume in but you get fked 100x more often and ur winrate is lower. prior to todays robbery I had winrate of 3.83bb/100 @ 50z over 85k or something and now it's been demolished. I don't even know how it's possible to lose 12bi in less than 2.5k hands but I somehow managed it. I'm gona try and make regular tables my main game and play a lil zoom on the side. I honestly think zoom is just holding me back so much.
Not gona bother with hands they are either coolers or suck outs. Made 1-2 bad calls.
I feel where you are coming from , but you gotta think about it realistically:
If MidgetC, the man who stands on his chair just to see the computer screen () can crush so hard, then we can, too. Just gotta put in that hard work. You can do it. GL.
Decided to play some more which was quite stupid of me tbh. I honestly think I deserve to have lost everything today because I didn't get up after the first 10 times I got coolered. I decided to chase my loses and I got punished for it.

lol...you will be bored ****less on reg tables so fast and if you're going to take this approach may as well bum hunt other sites if making $ is your main goal opposed to improving in a format that is clearly beatable.

Defend Q4s more
Bum hunt what sites? I've tried to switch to regular tables but I always wind up at zoom tables for some reason. I think improving can come with bum hunting too just put in a little extra time in the lab.
Also to clarify the bit about zoom holding me back. I said that because I clearly have tilt issues and they are made worse with zooms lol variance and the ugly selfies that Russians have as their avatar on stars.
a lot of people win more at zoom than reg, it all depends on how you approach the game. Like you know i tried my hand at zoom and my winrates were not very interesting to me except at 25z FR where id say my long-term is 8-10bb easily depending on how many tables i play on the side.
Maybe you're just not cut out for the zoom games. Im having a lot more fun 16 tabling on party right now and 26$/hr in rb is fun

Q4 FTW
Not sure I have only ever played on stars and yes zoom>reg tables imo hard to go from playing fast fold to norm speed. I mean you improve when you vs people better than you/off table work, I would assume less off the table work would be required to beat reg tables.I think a lot fall into the category of having tilt issues and when they experience zoom downswings it's amplified instead of losing 10-20bi they lose a lot more so when they finally get a heater it's merely just cancelling the downswing out. Get your own lines also with the russian selfies lol.
Zoom is very beatable. The skill level is just higher. Ultimately you have to decide if bumhunting for short term money or improving is your main goal.
Look on the bright side mate, at least your still rolled for 5nl
I keep my poker roll and life roll as 1 whole thing. In the last 2 months I had won close to 4k in poker like 2.3k at cash tables 1k at tourneys and 700 in rake back. I just withdrew quite often.

Think op should get back to studying.
That does seem to be the trend of this PGC. If you don't like it you can always hit the door.
This was my graph of 50z after that session. Just realised I have played a ridic amount of volume. I honestly think I could have a winrate of 4+bb/100 at 50z if I keep my mental game strong. The graph below has alot of lol spew due to bad mental game.
So now you stop playing for the day after losing two buyins? Losing two buyins on a losing day is a blessing.
I don't follow it anymore but before i would stop and re-evaluate a few hours later. There's just no point as when im losing more than 2bi it's usually because im running 30% W$@SD. My std dev is 70.
Its kind of incredible that you've played that much poker and "didnt know you could lose 12bi in 2.5k hands". Come on man, you can do better. Dont give up!
Fwiw, i ran something like 140bi below ev when i first moved up to 50nlfr, something like 6-7 years ago now. I didnt give up and im glad i didnt. If i were you, i'd work on my mental game like 5x as much as my technical game. Journal every day, find and listen to/read everythig jared tendler ever did, work with a therapist...anything and everything. You clearly love the game, only your attitude is holding you back.

Gl op, will be following
I honestly couldn't agree more.
I don't think I'll ever give up on poker tbh it's my way of escaping. I'm doing a uni course atm Computer Science and I am hating every single moment of it. It really does scare me that I'm 20 and have no idea wtf I'm doing with my life or where it's going. I not only enjoy the game but it helps me cope with all my other problems and it's making me money so I can't complain lol.
Thanks bro
