Hey guys,
I am a 20 year old full-time student who is currently studying Computer Science and have about a year left to complete my bachelors. Meanwhile I have been playing poker for about an hour or two a day for the past two years and have made about $3,000 in profits. I had to take out $1,500 for my expenses and I am left with $1,500.
I want to start out at 25nl and mostly focus on improving my game. I will also put many more hours on my game so that I can actually have really strong fundamentals. I will move up to the stakes as quickly as I can as long as I can feel that my poker game is strong enough to compete. I have no pressure of money as my parents are providing me with all the support that I need with my college. I will update this thread daily or as soon as possible if I have a lot of school work.
So, I was able to get a couple hours of play in on 04/15 and yesterday after creating this thread. I played well and ran well overall but games were exceptionally easy. Not a huge sample but I've got a couple of graphs:
Cash:
Managed to play half an hour of Hyper Turbos HUSNG:
Some cash hands:
1. Recreational player. I think he reps too few value hands and we run into random spaz very often.
UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.00, fold, fold, BB raises to $2.50, fold, Hero calls $1.50
Flop:($5.35, 2 players) 2 4 7 BB bets $2.25, Hero raises to $6.17, BB raises to $10.09, Hero raises to $22.65 and is all-in, BB calls $12.41 and is all-in
Turn:($50.35, 2 players) 3
River:($50.35, 2 players) Q
Spoiler:
BB shows A A (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 80%, Flop 14%, Turn 14%) Hero shows 7 7 (Three of a Kind, Sevens)
(Pre 20%, Flop 86%, Turn 86%) Hero wins $47.56
I am approaching the end of my 3rd year and have the finals coming up in 2 weeks. Therefore, I am unable to put in a lot of volume. But I want to put in a lot of volume over the 3-month summer break, so stay tuned
