Starting the classic journal. I'm not going to be posting big updates or hand analysis, just casually writing about a growing bankroll and some background stuff about when I play (and/or difficulties about playing).

I usually play 4-9 tables and try to get around 1000-1500 hands per session. But only have time for ~3 sessions/week. Volume lacks because I'm currently in college (senior year), playing on the baseball team, and have a gf.

Starting a session now, will update in a few hours once I'm done. I'll post my overall graph after this next session, then post one every month.

Played a long session. Started down $40 early, but came back. Played a lot more hands than I usually do, so it was nice to get em in. Feel like I've gotten a lot better in the past month or so, just an overall better feel for population tendencies.

Played a mix of 25nl and 10nl last Saturday (9/9), which went pretty poorly. Was up $90 after 200 hands then went downhill from there. If there's not enough 25nl tables running I'll mix in some 10nl to get more volume in.

Total: -$64

BR as of Saturday:~$719

Played again today (25nl only), ran a good amount under EV. Lost AK<AQ aipf twice.

Planning on shot taking 50nl at $1000. I've tried 50nl before, but ran terrible so it always knocked me back down.

Was down $130 at one point, but stuck with it and brought it up a little bit. Played this session yesterday (9/13)

Total BR: $952

Solid day, played a 5.5hr session. Not many tables going (maybe 6 at one time) of 25nl 6max so I added a couple FR tables. Here's the graph from today:

I went on a big downswing (down to ~$800, maybe even in the $700s) so I stopped posting out of frustration lol. I'm back for another update.

Not sure what session I would be on, but...

Still mainly playing 25nl, currently taking a shot. Basically I'm playing around 8 tables of 25nl, then adding in 1 or 2 50nl table(s). If profits keep coming I'll be adding more 50nl tables.

Thread Update: I think I'm going to switch how I've been posting. Instead of posting my results from each session, I'm going to post my end of month results all at once. I feel like it's unorganized if I keep posting each session. So from now on I'll post more hands histories and then have an end of month update on the results!

I switched from BetOnline to Ignition 2 days ago. I kept having trouble with BetOnline's poker client so decided to withdraw. Also I wanted to play zoom tables to get more volume in. Withdrew about $990 from BetOnline via Bitcoin, the payout was fast! Nothing bad to say about BetOnline other than the software would always crash for me. Left my money in bitcoin for about a day and lost like $10.

Ignition

Been playing 4 tables of Ignition's zoom (2 @25nl and 2 @50nl). Player pool seems pretty weak overall. So far 25nl is a donk fest. I currently can't track my hands because I need to buy the ignition hand converter from Ace Poker (I think). Feels weird not using a hud/tracking hands. Makes me feel naked & afraid. 100nl zone doesn't seem to run very often so I'm kinda bummed about that for when I shot take. Once I get to around $2200+ and 100nl zone is running I'll probably step in and make some plays on them fooos


Main goal(s):

-Shot take 200 zone asap (hopefully by June 1st, will probs do some coaching once I get to that point)

-Play 10-15hrs/week (4 table zone)

-Start folding more to all these nits on the river (killing me right now)
