Also played tourneys which were too expensive for my roll and I dont have a solid strategy for).

Anyways I recently got a job and can afford to play. Gonna start again at low stakes nl5 to nl10 and try to build it up. I'm hoping toplay 20-25 hour a week. 4 tabling to hopefully get around 5000 hands a week in to start. Keep practicing and getting better and hopefully hit an upswing here soon man! I will try to follow this as it is similar to what I am trying to do at the moment. grinding HU is ambitious. if you can become skilled at that you should be very strong for other game types considering the hand reading and post flop skills it takes to be successful in a two handed game. I'm mostly sticking to 6max and full ring games. Might get into some MTT's as well though as I learn.
ty man! hope everything goes good with your challenge as well

You are trying different tracking softwares eh? I'd be interested to know what your favourites have been. Probably something that would be very useful. I'm just using my own excel spreadsheet at the moment.

i dont use a tracking software because bovada makes it difficult to import hands nearly impossible, so i just use holdemindicator hud its pricey but useful for bovada

It isn't hard at all to import hands into PT4 or HEM2. Buy Bovada hand converter for like $30 or w/e it is.

You can run Windows on a Mac which will allow you to use it. Besides the hand converter, tons of other tools used to analyze and improve your game are Windows based.

played about 1k hands and did fairly well. Have been meditating in the morning and at night and i feel like its a huge stress reliever. Also after an hour session i took a 15 min break to clear my head and also found that very helpful. Thank you to everyone following i know i hit a bump in the road but ill reach 3k in no time just gotta keep grinding.

What to you guys think about two tabling 25nl6max,

And for the other 2 tables tournaments?

I feel like my MTT game is average, but do you think it will help the challenge?

Thoughts????

I'd stick to one game type if you are serious about building a bankroll. Cash games are a little more consitent in my opinion anyway but I guess it just depends on what your preference is.

Played 943 hands and lost 3$.

I started out the session winning, at my peak i was up 50$

But i made a bad call with JJ on 987flop when guy shoved.

Then ran QQ into KK pre. Overall im satisfied with my play today other then the last play i think i did ok.

Trying to put in 1k hands a day at 4tables 25nl6max. i will try and increase that as time goes by.

After this post going to stick with the mediation, and mediate for 10min and fall asleep. Good luck to all of you reading this, hope all of you have a good day tomorrow

That is good advice. You seem to be jumping around from game to game and that isn't how you improve at poker. If you really want to keep improving and building a bankroll you need to figure out which game suits your life and skill set the best and stick to and study it as much as possible. While you're still playing poker no matter what game you're playing, it takes an entirely different set of skills to beat each individual game type.

Tournaments are the easiest to learn and good get at, but they also come with the most variance. Cash games on the other hand are much harder to get good at, but once you do you'll be able to consistently make money without huge swings (most of the time). Look at all the successful players, they may play other games sometimes, but they mainly spend their time playing 1 game as their main game. It's very hard to ever live up to your potential jumping around and the sooner you figure out what's best for you the sooner you will start to see real improvements.

Yeah you are right, i always find myself trying to go different routes in poker, im going to stick with cash for awhile. Is 1k hands a day 4tabling too low? or just fine?

What do you play with the poker points? I run so bad trying to convert those to actual money. I hate that cash players can't convert them to money. Why do they assume everyone would like to play mtt's. (I realize they actually just don't give a **** ) I usually just try the 9man sit n go's.

Would you just play a 11$ 9 man with those points or you split it up to smaller buy ins?

Good luck with your goals. If your still in $25 6max games we def play together at some point.
