Hi Guys,

my name is Jake, I am a 22 year old student from the UK. I have found myself with a few weeks off before beginning my masters studies, and felt now was a good time to make a thread.

The goal is pretty simple: Achieve 2p2 boss status by turning a humble $250.00 into a larger more interesting sum.

We will do this by playing low stakes MTTs, as well as MTTSNGs, mainly 180 mans with a few 90s and 45s where required.

I will also begin streaming on twitch in a few weeks when I move to London, as my internet at home is absolutely awful. My goal is to make people see the fun side of grinding poker, and to bring back the fun factor to this game!

First session down,

played something like 60-70 games over like 9 hours. Lost $30.00. Felt I played well but couldn't rack up those finishes, and ran pretty gross in some spots.

Really enjoyed getting back into the swing of things, and felt like I had a serious edge in some spots.

Really stoked to grind tomorrow

A good day yesterday, played approx 9 hours, filled with a little bit of sadness as i will explain below.

So won a couple of $3.50 45 mans, and took second in a 2.50 180 man, which was nice.

In addition made the final table of $3.30 bubble rush, had AA cracked by AQo for the chip lead with 9 remaining, and ended up coming 8th.

Still really nice making deep runs and I was super happy with how I played, I felt I had a very good chance of winning the tournament with my thinking and play.

Played another 6 hours today, didn't go my way really, made a few FTS in 180 mans but got the worse of it and came 8th and 9th. Towards the end felt super burned out and definitely made a couple of errors, the result wouldn't have been different but my thought processes were poor which i need to ensure I don't make a habit.

It does make you think how much a top 3 can change the day.

Probably going to take tomorrow and sunday off (due to hangover probs) then get back on the grind monday.

I did have a question for you all, I usually have either music or a tv show on in the background when I play, I quite like it.

Is there anything you guys do while playing to make the grind even better?

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have finally moved to London, but have been having trouble with my internet.

my router is in the living room but our walls are quite thick and so the signal is awful in my room maybe 10m away! does anybody have any ideas?

Outside of this i've been playing some live poker, i came 3rd in a tourney last week for £400.00, however obviously I won't be including this in this challenge as this is an online challenge.

Hope I get my internet connection sorted, and can continue the challenge soon!
