Simple short/mid term challenge.

Win $20k in 50k hands of PLO.

I play primarily PLO200 but also play PLO100 if games are dry, or PLO400-600 if games are good.

I'm aiming to win either $20k (EV) in 50k hands. I'll have to have a win rate of 20bb/100 at PLO200 to do this, so I'll either have to run super HOT or throw in a lot of PLO400 which could make this quite reasonable. (I think it will have the be the latter)

My 2017 graph so far where I've played 10k hands. I am on target so far with the hands I've played. Just have to keep it up and be consistent!

I will try to post graphs a few times a week of my sessions.

Managed to finish my days session and managed to recover from the slight dip at 9200 hands that I posted in my original post.

Good luck Gruff, cool challenge will follow the thread. Looks like you're playing well in the hands you've posted, on the last hand you post, how come you raise all in on turn as opposed to just calling?

Flop

CO: Given the stack sizes, when CO bets this sizing otf, I expect him to have a very weak hand thats unable to improve... possible AAxx off suit.

BTN: With a flopped nuts straight, button would want to raise the flop and get the chips in on the turn to a safe card. By calling, I expect button to have nfd/set/2p.

TURN

Being a blank, whoever was ahead on the flop is still ahead on the turn.
CO checks so we assume he has given up on the pot. Button then proceeds to pot. We have already excluded flopped straights from his flop calling range, and his turn bet sways towards a hand like QQJx/QQAx & possibly J9xx (which I block so that narrows his range further) so I think the +EV move for me is to pot and gii.

My check call range on the flop will be sets and nfd so I'm at the top of my range so in this spot, I can still get called by worse hands.

I don't like that kings hand either. You block a T, so there are less good bluffcatching combos he can call you down with. His line makes zero sense though and probably had blockers, which he fked up bigtime. I still prefer calling turn and letting him blast the river. Do think you might be valueowning yourself occasionally on this turn with this line and i'd give the rope to BTN.

eugh, winrate's impressive though keep that up and you'll do it !

If I can maintain that win rate, I'll complete this challenge in a few days haha.

Here is my graph for 26/01/17. The session started so badly and EV was a bitch too.

Oh, I also sat on a 1/2 PLO Hi/Low table and lost $150 before I even realised haha. No wonder I didn't recognise anyone at the table lmao.
