Decided to put in a session today. Will not be playing for the next couple of days, so I tried to stretch it for a bit. I didn't play my best in the end (too much autopiloting), but nothing super spewy/bad.

IMO a setup vs. a fish.

Realised I messed up in my last session by forcing volume, something I've promised myself not to do, as it doesn't make any sense to play if I can't think 100% clear. Basically wrote my last post with a melted/malfunctioning brain, so I really need to get my act together, if I want to get better in poker. Disappointed in myself for only realising this afterwards.

Goals for today:

- Play ~1k hands.
- Take a break every 100 hands.
- Review spots I'm unsure of with PIO in this break.

GL me.

Day was solid, even though I missed out on a couple hundred hands. Nothing worth sharing, didn't even play for 100BB stacks once. Will have to rethink how often I update this. I guess it's kinda boring to update without any cool hands.

Yesterdays sessions were solid IMO.

Two interesting hands. For the AKo hand, I could possibly size up my 4-bet a little (we're deeper than usual), but other than that I like my play. J9s sucks but I can't fold. Pretty bad play by villain (who seemed like a reg) IMO.

Hopefully I will at some point. TYTY.

Been almost a week since I've played poker. Expected that I had to take a ~3 weeks break (however this is not 100% the case), so figured out it would be pointless to update here. My last session wasn't really great as I once again tried to make up for the upcoming break by mass tabling, which is such a big leak for me. Down 3.5 buyins for 100z and up 1.5 buyins for 50z. At 100z my game was A+ (at least for me), but not really at 50z. Basically I just had some coolers (FH<quads, set<set in 3-bet pot), but who cares apart from me.

Ironically I spewed off ~2 buyins at 50z, but also failed to run simulations on quite a lot of spots. This was especially for BTN vs BB and SB vs BB spots as the aggressor. So yeah, had some built up tension from that. Super embarrassing to keep reminding myself how I shouldn't treat poker.

Full graph.

Right know I don't know how much I'm going to play the upcoming weeks. From next month I will work on setting up a schedule for poker. Can't wait.

@hand AKo with trips < KQo with str8: why do u think the play from villain is

bad? because he called the 4bet with KQo or because of his betting sizes OTT

and OTR?

I was actually referring to the J9s hand for the bad play.

Thanks a lot!

I believe most of my sessions have been solid lately (with the last two sessions being exceptions), and I have been going through almost any spot I struggle with. The only thing I really wanna change is to use nodelocking more while working with a solver. Where it fails is when I play at times I shouldn't. Loading up 4 tables at 100z is just 100% stupidity if I can't think properly. Should be way better to not play at all in that case.

I've just had a few days of not playing poker, starting again tomorrow. I haven't really decided how often I will update this, but we'll see. GL.

Played a lot more than I normally would this weekend. Not a lot to say, think a lot of the bigger pots played themselves. Will see if I can mark a few hands until my next update.

Today I will go more in depth with a few common spots. I will probably play a bit as well.

Played my last sessions for the month Wednesday-Sunday. Dealt with some swings, but playing close to my best game (with a few mistakes) I believe, and that's what only really matters. Might have pushed volume a bit too much.

Not a lot of interesting hands really, so will spare some hands for now. Focus right now is probably to take it a bit more easy with the volume.
