Quick intro

For you that don't know me I'm 27.5 years old MTT player from Serbia. I've started playing MTTs at the beggining of 2016th backed, started from pure bottom, abi 10 or so. Before that i was flerting with being poker profesional for couple of years but always failed because of great number of distractions ( booze, drugs, girls, sportsbooking, festivals, parties, dota u name it, none of it healthy) and w my new backer decided to stop all that bull**** and try to be best version of myself and start from rock bottom. I saw some places, did some things - poker was good to me! When i stopped being staked at mid/late 2018th I didn't found steadily grinding 20-30 abi on my own dime challenging enough, could see that I can fall behind the curve pretty fast, and yeah money isn't my main poker motivation so I've applied for bitB. Right now - I'm in zie bitB academy and playing abi 45-50 or so, with comformtable life/bankroll behind me, clear head, healthy habbits and some juicy goals on my mind. I'm big fan of NBA and 76ers and therefore big fan of what Sam Hinkie did and got fired for. Sometimes they just don't recognize your greatness until it's too late.

Since I was never super structural / accountable in things and my PGCs were basicly only sources from which I could learn about my overall progress and previous thought processes and way of life, I've decided to start a new one right here right now. I'll give myself 2 updates per month minimum w 1 big monthly update included w all those goofy numbers and EVs and sheit. Won't go too much into day to day stuff unless it's some sexy sweat or bink or something sexy overall ( like outvamoing the vamo boiz )

Quick 2018 recap

500k hands evBB/100 - 10

Started taking myself and poker more seriously and it resulted pretty well. There were different stages in which I was in terms of playing on different profit cuts/deals/playing on my own dime so yeah i'd say i took home 55-60% of the profits so that's fine. Sadly no 100k year for me yet but I have a funny feeling about this 2019th, though i admit the line is thin between this feeling being OMGprofits/playing highstakes and complete trainwreck. But I choose to care only about the things I can influence on.

2019 goals

Poker
1. 6000 tournaments
2. 100k profits
3. evBB 8+ for the year
4. Never miss a Sunday
5. Super strong mental game

I'm not worried about improving technical parts of my game, did that quite well on my own and being in such a great community as it is bitB will just bring that process on some new faster level. I love discussing poker and finding leaks in my thought processes is something that I actually enjoy, even after 15h sessions I can jump into PIO/HRC and do some sims to get something clear etc. Edges are anyway getting super thin in poker, and altough obv nobody is playing optimal I think that one of the biggest edges today is to be able to perform on highest levels for the most time. If I can make myself do more A and B game hours and less C game hours than average/solid regs I think I'd just crush everything superhard. This is very related to health/nutrition/meditation/preparations/routines.

Poker goals that I can't influence on completly but would feel great to achieve :
- win a live tournament ( never won one )
- p5s triple crown
- ranked number 1 on p5s in my country

Life goals
- Keep being decent and honest person to yourself and to your peers
- Keep your ego in check, be grateful for where you are and help other people whenever you can
- Be in best physical shape of your life at the end of the year (85-90kgs w some visible muscles will do it for starters )
- Eat clean 90%+
- Visit SE Asia, Portugal, South America

One little non poker brag. At the beggining of December I've decided that I'm done with not taking my body (and therefore my mind) seriously. Years of drinking, ordering crappy food, occasional use of drugs (though this is not a thing for the last 2 years but before that it was a big thing ) have took a big toll on my body. Was somewhat athletic until i was 16 years old and after that it all went downsides. I've found myself w 110kgs on my 187cms at the beggining of December, hired personal trainer and made nutrition plans. I can proudly say that 1 month and couple days later I weight 97kg and feel super good and will keep things clean !

It's Sunday, so I have to do some preps for the session. Let's open this PGC with an bzzzzzzzzzzzt !

Had WSeries monster stack 100 FT last night, didn't manage to pull it off though, got 5th. had couple of unfortunate ICM spots where they were finding hands that gotta call it off with but what u gonna do. Bustout hand was pbb mistake but it was bb defend and we hit ace top pair w 9bb so i guess it can't be super bad. Did bunch of ICM reviewing later and got all the spots right in game which brought me some joy after not getting 20k.

have to flick in 5-7 sessions before my flight to reach my goal and I will do so, yes sir !

I've reassesed some of these goals, like playing 9-10 tables if I get to a deeprun/have 4+ of those tables on my higher buyin ends / have 5-6 pskos. it's just that i'm used to 15-18 tabling and I play very solid on 12.

I've played/worked like a maniac after October without any breaks ( playing liveaments in Slovenia doesn't count ) and can't wait to fvck off from this winter and arrive to Bali. Plan is to chill for couple of days and then try to get it in with morning schedule ( night on stars basicly ). Live, eat, breath healthy and then work some. Not sure for how long I'll be staying there, it depends mostly if I manage to organize myself well with the grinding - SE Asia being worst time zone for the MTT grinders from what I've heard. If things don't work out well I'll flick in couple of sessions, work off tables and try to relax and come back in 20ish days.

Grind is going well, there weren't any super big scores but just deeping everything and having many semis and FTs works good for me right now. I've also realised that I shouldn't be playing 2< sessions in a row. Was experimenting quite a bit with this, like to find a best play/study/workout/days off ratio. When I play 2 sessions in a row after taking a day off I basicly don't play in my C game at all, everything is easy, i'm super concentrated. Last week since all series were finishing/heating up i've played like 6/7 days and oh boy, on the last session i've played some worst poker ever seen So I'll try to keep up on the 2 days play 1 day rest(but study) schedule in the future.

Smoking rant
I'm gonna also give my best(and first) shot at stop smoking. I've bought 'quick way to stop smoking' by Alan Carr on Europeans recommendation + my plan all along was to quit when I go to Bali since my mates there are all nonsmokers so I think it will work out quite well. Will read the book while waiting for flight from Doha. I think I'd handle it by myself too. Smoking is most dumbest thing ever imo, drugs are way better tbh It's like you stink, your fingers and teeth get yellow, you don't enjoy 95% of them, you spend money, it doesn't give you any type off high, your lungs are a mess and you can't walk/run without getting tired after small amount of time + you increase your chance to die by a lot. Just the dumbest thing ever. Was good while I was in highschool though.

Had a super nice deeprun yesterday on Sunday Special 100 .es. Basicly played really in the zone + sunrunned all the way to the 3 left where 2 pretty much super bad guys fked me up w them hitting everything and me not hitting anything. Think I never played softer FT, like I remember one Big 11 win 2 years ago where it was super soft but it's not even close w this one. Made 1-2 missplays on FT because I was pretty much insecure in RPs in scenario with 2 huge CLs and other less than 20bb stacks and proceded w either too passive or too aggressive lines but I'm grateful for those insecurities as they just make me realise how much I have to work on it.

Obv I won't cry about another super nice score, but damn I'm sad because they were so insanely bad.

How the f one doesn't close a timbey after this happens :

EV at 8.86 which is definetly great since I had more than 3 sessions in which I was really tired and was really bad at execution. There were series running all over the place and I was pretty sick at the beggining of the year w some stomach flue or something which resulted in much worse stamina. Obviously all of those 3 sessions where when I was playing 4th or 5th day in a row and I still can't do this on appropriate level.

I had many many deeps, overall running pretty pure and it wouldn't be okay to cry about 11k month but it was couple flips away from being 30k month but w/e. I don't really care much about results at this point and I think that's very good and it's for sure huge improvement. Like, I bust 109 mini thrill 25 ppl left in some nasty hand for superCL and then one table finish whatever I have left totally relaxed like nothing happened.

On the other hand I've never been more confident in my reasoning on the table, even when I play in my C game it's not that aweful, i'm never super spewing stacks and yeah those C game minutes are not that often anyway and they are happening mostly when I miss my routines / not have good plans / something messes up my plans.

On days when I have a training, eat good stuff, study poker for 1-2-3h, prepare my lunch/dinner/snacks, take walk, nap and start playing without any distractions, playing poker is just such a wonderful expirience and i'm being completly results unoriented. When I fvck up something in that chain I kinda play a bit off, so yeah, routines and being responsible are good things, duly noted.

I'm down on 96kg which isn't 95 but it's still pretty damn good, considering that in November I had 114 flat. Started to slack a bit about nutrition and eating some junk here and there, will give my best to restart myself back on the good stuff only from friday since after friday - Bali, and seems like a thin line between myself being super productive and living healthy and NOT - challenging trip for sure Plan is to quit smoking completly, I'm quite the optimist but don't want to go any deeper since there is another thin line it seems but I'll do my best to just enjoy life for first couple of days and then be super productive since there are some small but not really acceptable leaks that need to get plugged.

I'll update February goals in next couple days, so see ya then again

Think we got the one yearly goal done (p5s triple crown). Iit came from 10e winamax bowl but we'll take it

As I'm single tabling some h16.5 lemme do a bit of an update:

So I'm on Bali for 15 days or so and oh boy this island is **** awesome, though I'm near Canggu and didn't saw much yet but I'm loving the vibe. After running friends bike into the ricefield from 2m height drunk on the first day I've decided to learn to drive 125cc first and don't drink and drive Funny thing is that I don't drive my car drunk ~ever, at least never for drives that are longer than 5 minutes, but I guess being in Bali for the first time got me a bit overexcited and I got some heat there since I had only 1 bruise on my leg. Long story short I'm a good driver and yeah I'm driving pretty fine now.

My sleeping/eating/living habbits are awesome. I came to friends villa, been there 6-7 days and it for sure helped that all of them were in working mode, not YOLOing at all. Bit too serious if you ask me but what the hell... Was pretty awesome grinding CET night sessions in the mornings from the outside and changing break cold showers with jumping-into-pool I'm ***** clueless why I was spending winters in Europe for years. Anyway, I took a room near the beach and am there for the last 6-7 days. I was too unaccustome to not having my own room/bed/space overall and that had to be changed, so my grinding habitat is a bit less exotict now (wooden table/wooden chair/room). I'm in Perenenan, 5-6 minutes drive from Canggu but it's so calm and quiet and locals are great. Did 2 runs on the beach during the sunrise which both felt ***** amazing. Smoked a cig after both obv, cigs are unfortunately still w me

Anyway, that's about it for the first update, im out from hot 16.5. My February goals are already fullfilled poker wise and being up like 12k sounds good too. Here are couple of random pics (don't wanna post pics from monkey forest and ubud overall u can google it it's beutiful) and see ya soon:
