good answer - and interested to keep hearing how it goes for you. Me and D7 were looking at the google trends too yesterday - these big moves make me fairly uncomfortable honestly and so was nice to see we aren't at 2017 FOMO on that metric at least.

Also agree that a pullback seems completely inevitable.

Problem is that everybody in 2017 was screaming pullback all the way from 10k to 20k and everybody still got rekt. Could be nice little history repeat

To be fair, most people got wrecked in 2017 because people were expecting a pullback and so bought the dip to $14k, and what they got was a blow off top and a 85% drop over 16 months

It might happen that way again, but it seems way more likely that we'll be consolidating and setting new ATHs over the next 6-12 months.

Also: 1k posts in the thread, thanks for reading and contributing ppl

Yeah I have a trading account and a cold store of BTC. Cold store I don’t touch and have no plans to until at least new ATHs. I closed all of my buy trades between $13400 and $12700 on Wednesday.

Have to say, BTC is looking unexpectedly constructive on the shorter timeframes (1 and 4hr), was really hoping to pick some up on the cheap.

Also, gold at 5 year highs on a pretty blue sky breakout. Really wishing I’d gone with that leveraged long I spoke about at the start of the year

June-July

Conscious I haven't been keeping this thread updated recently. I've not really been motivated to do so, and have been travelling a fair bit so volume has been pretty dismal. Aimee and I were in the Lake District for a week at an awesome Spa resort named Brimstone. Don't think I've ever been so chilled out than I was after a few days there. Had no phones/laptops with us, so it was great to just disconnect and relax.

Also flew over to Berlin for a few days with mates to see Metallica in concert. They're a band I've wanted to see live for years now, and they exceeded my expectations. I thought they might sound a bit tired, given that they're in their 60s or whatever. But nah, so so fkn good.

Here's the graph since I last updated, which is mostly June and July with a few days from the end of May while SCOOP was running. Played a small amount of 2knl as I found a spot at a table with Scout326, which was good fun. Still mixing 200 and 500z primarily. Volume will pick up again now that summer is almost over and distractions are out of the way

Thanks mate, hope things are going well for you! Haha, I just like playing between 9-5 on my timezone so that I can have a semi normal life outside of poker. Definitely see a lot of you in those lineups too though

Doing very good aswell, thanks. Yeah lately Ive been trying to stop playing those, its fun for sure, but im definitely not close to +EV in those lineups gl in august, hope you can shot some softer 5k games this month

Nah 5k is way too high for me. I’ll only play 2k if it’s a legitimate spot.

You make a good point with regards to the 500z games at times. Especially midweek daytime lately. I don’t have the heart to grind reg speed tables though. I should really just be playing 200z at those times I guess...

What do you guys think about his turn call with his exact combo? Seems like playing 50% of rivers is hell.

Nice results. I always enjoy this thread.

Brimstone looks fantastic (but maybe a bit out of my price range.) Did you venture out much or just enjoy the resort? I've been thinking about doing a lake district trip. I've only ever passed through.

Think your wwsf will get torched even more than mine if you start overfolding turns on wet boards at 500z

It’s absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t recommend it any more. It’s also the kind of place you could easily just do a long weekend at and you would get the same benefits I think. So that would bring down the costs. We spent the majority of our time in resort just using the spa and hotel facilities to be honest. But that was what we both wanted after a pretty stressful few months. We did venture in Ambleside, Windermere and Grassmere. Ambleside and Grasmere are really nice and quaint, full of cafes and boutique shops. Windermere too busy and tourist trappy for me, but I’m sure some people love it.

Nope, never been. Brimstone was right next to a place called Great Longsdale, so maybe pretty close? It’s the first time I’ve spent any time in the area.

Long time no update, will do a big update at the end of this month. Poker going well, but life is pretty hectic right now (had 5 different weddings and 2 stag away weekends in the past 2 months), so when it calms back down I'll start updating again. Definitely much better at poker than I ever have been.

I'm selling for the $1k 6-max shootout and and the $500 reg-speed WCOOP events tonight, 50% available at 1.075 MU. Hit me up if you'd like any action. If you're sending money on stars then please shoot me a PM beforehand.

10% - $169.85
5% - $84.93
etc.
