I dunno, swing trading 2% ranges in crypto seems non-optimal, if you’re not doing it full time. If you’re trading channels then 3700-3750 seems like a better entry looking at ascending triangles and fibs. If you’re not doing stuff like this, then just dollar cost averaging in a little at a time while it’s in the dumpster is probably a better yield vs time/effort.

I bought a ton @ 3900 because i share the same sentiment as you, but when it didnt go str8 up i decided to cash out as I figured it'd just crash back down to support level (3.900). I plan on buying back in a dece chunk at support @ 3930 or if we break 4k.

Still reasonable chance we crash to 3.1k or lower still, so ill be buying in on dips until we move in a certain direction.

But anyways... I'm pretty much ready to go all in right now as I'm super bullish on btc.

Ah I see, sorry I figured you were trying to swing trade these tiny margins.

Technicals say that we’re on for a correction on the weekly chart, with a big bear cross on the RSI. So if I were you I’d set buy orders on or around the 200wk moving average (about 3400 ascending right now)

But yeah, overall I’m starting to feel a bit more bullish on crypto again. Will continue to load up in Q2-4 if this year.

I have no idea what I’m talking about as I have only traded shares, but the crypto market just seems so volatile it’s pure gambling? Correct me if I’m wrong. It sounds easy for people to convince themselves they know what they are doing but actually nobody does lol

Idk why 2 engineers would try to beat crypto when they could just learn investing in stocks, where they will have a guaranteed edge after they put in the study hours and will take way less time than population to learn given their math/science background.

Lots of money to be made in the crypto space precisely for the reason you stated. That being said, I can't speak for Kangal_, but I obviously invest in stocks as well.

Yeah immature and emerging markets are generally going to yield better returns. I do some passive investing in indexes and metals also, yes. The majority my research time is devoted to crypto though, as it's where I perceive the EV to be.

Last couple days graph, decent results and played OK/well for the most part, if a little passive in certain spots. Mostly due to playing too many tables I think, and auto-piloting while in big spots elsewhere. Bluffcatched in mostly good spots vs the correct kind of opponents, and ran good there to find a lot of air combos.

I've been sitting on the sidelines still on BTC last several days and now it's looking bearish again, so probably going to wait til we hit 3.6k or lower. I was hoping a lot of people would have been optimistic with the upwards trend lately, but apparently too many people waiting for better prices or clear moves still.

March booked. Pretty abysmal volume, but I've been dealing with some RL **** the last week that I don't want to get into. Fair to say that it's been one of the tougher weeks I can remember, but hopefully we're through the back of it now.

Classically ran $2k below EV basically entirely at 200z today to close out the month, which was pretty brutal. Nice to run hot at 500z when I jumped in this month. Basically only played if there were more recs than regs, which helps. Think I played well for the most part this month. Torn between 3 and 4 tabling zoom right now. I play noticeably better while 3 tabling, and my WWSF increases by 4% or so on avg. Not sure that it's better enough that it offsets playing 150 hands less an hour or whatever though.

Haha yeah this is why I suggest just dollar cost averaging in, instead of trying to catch the fomo wave. Likelihood is that if this is the bottom, then there will be a lengthy accumulation period. So if you can afford to have money in basically cold storage for a year or two, then just get in and forget about it.

Yeah crazy stuff today. Being honest, I have no idea at all where we go from here on BTC. I was expecting a break above the 4300 zone and then hopefully consolidation on that. But a 1 hour move (more like 15mins tbh) to 5100 is just madness. I guess I hope that we close today’s candle above the 200 day exponential MA at around 4600 and hopefully consolidate in that area.

I got really quite lucky in that I made my biggest BTC buy in almost a year on Friday. Will probably take profits on some of that.

I've actually just closed most of my BTC positions for the time being. We're still being held down by the weekly EMA ribbon, having topped at exactly the 50MA. I'm expecting a short term correction to retest the 4200ish level. Made around $6k in this latest bull move, so if things play out the way I'm hoping then I can make a pretty significant increase in BTC for the big run.

Bull market is definitely getting closer though - and if you look at the historical BTC data the previously two bull markets have kick started around 50 weeks prior to the next block BTC rewards halvening. Next halvening is expected to be 24th May 2020, so correction now before bullrun starting in June of this year would be my best guess.

Not financial advise obviously, just my opinion.

--------------------------------------------

Slow start to the month, down around $1500 after 8k hands or so. I chopped the Pacific Rim with another zoom reg today for $3k though, and won the Big $109 earlier in the week for about the same.
