Cheers folks,
will be starting a blog here and even on 2+2. Started playing poker a few years ago, slightly before the twitch hype came up. Since being a student I mostly used winnings for paying the bills or for affording some nice things or travels instead of building a solid roll to be able on stakes you can take serious 100% of the time.
So I’ll start of the 2019 journey with a 100$ roll playing NL5z. Might look like an aggresive brm on the first sight but the edge at this specific level should be high enough. For every higher level I’ll increase the amount of buy-ins gradually. Will be mixing in some tournament days as well as time allows.
Specific goals:
- having a winrate of 40bb/100 at NL5 if variance doesn’t get in too hard
- working on my game: especially concerning the 3-bet ranges from SB and UTG+1 and adjusting it to every specific stake. Postflop gameplay UTG oop and from BB vs late positions. Deep 4-bet shoves around button and blinds.
- no sessions after long university days or in between, just when being focused and concentrated 100%
- to better the best MTT Results I had so far (several between 1-2k)
I’ll post graphs as the first few k hands come in as well as discussable hands whereas tricky decisions had to be made. Will be posting hands in the discord channel, too, I guess.
GL @ me and @ all others for hopefully a positively connoted GG at the end of the year and the whole ****in’ journey!
