It's possibly not allowed, I'm not sure. I would think that if an affiliate wasn't fulfilling payments as advertised, it wouldn't be terribly unreasonable to seek out another affiliate who would pay the right money.
But I can definitely see an argument that it's not allowed, since I'm already a member of the site and affiliate deals are essentially to get people to sign up in the first place.
Regardless, the right course of action for Bodog would be to tell me I'm not allowed to use the new account and have to stay with the original account. They actually asked me in an email about a week ago which account I wanted to use for poker, so we can then close the other account. That would be best case scenario and honestly pretty reasonable from them.
It's certainly not something I should be banned from the site for though IMO, especially since I wasn't even able to play a single hand of poker on the second account and have never played more than 1 account at once, obviously. And it CERTAINLY doesn't warrant confiscating funds.
I'm still confident they'll at least give me my money back after they take their time completing their review. If they want to ban me for something so trivial as this, they're welcome to. I'll just go rake Pokerstars $100k a year instead.
